A hard fought victory last night. I thought we controlled the game for the most part, although things got a little edgy as we hung on to the narrow lead in the last 20. Very few chances created.
Clearly we have a number of injuries and very few attacking options - better sides than Uttoxeter might have taken advantage. But there was tons of effort and application from the team. We looked solid at the back, and thought Curtis Smith and Taylor-Randle played particularly well.
Nice set up at Uttoxeter and extremely welcoming. They even laid on free sandwiches and biscuits for away fans!

Thanks Ady for a excellent summary of the game, it looks like we have been hit by injuries to the squad and it was a much needed three points. My main concern is the lack of options up front with Will Gibbons working hard to fill the gap up front. What has happened to Chris Sterling no mention he has left club ?, Dan Westwood is again missing for whatever reason ? Which has left us light up front, may need to bring in another striker to bolster the squad if we are going to make a play off challenge .
