Has anyone else seen this new rival to the Non League Paper? I got it for the first time on Sunday and it's good to see the amount of coverage given to football outside the Conference National. I was reading through it today and found an article headlined "The Ground that Time Forgot". Yes, it was about Saint George's Lane. It was written by their groundhopper who seemed to thoroughly enjoy his visit for the friendly against Stockport County. The final paragraph says "An excellent game at a superb ground and this stadium certainly lived up to all the stories I had heard about it. If you haven't already been to St. George's Lane I suggest you get yourself down there as soon as possible." The issue I got is number 4 so I don't know where else he has written about but our ground got a rating of 76% and the comment "The gauntlet has been thrown down by this quintessential English ground!" I love the place too. ;D

perhaps the board could start to market the ground as "the ground that time forgot". Start selling Rossettes & Rattles, Get a brass band to play at half-time, Provide a "Half-time Score board" Park "light blue 3 wheeled disabled cars" on the corner of the pitch etc etc!!!
