I would, teams like Southwick FC would be very satisfied with how successful we have been in not going under, having inherited the previous set of issues. They weren't so lucky after their two league relegation. We are still surviving, and that, to me, is a level of success that was not possible back in the day when we were spaffing 200 grand a year up the wall.

All the good work done by the board to get us back to Worcester and providing the manager with a decent budget to make a assault on the league, all the good work is going to waste with this poor start. After ten league games we have only won one and currently stand fourth from bottom and only scored eleven goals and conceded 19. On paper the squad looked decent , but having signed three step 3 midfield players which have not gelled to date, the front players have been poor, and need to move a couple out of the club and replace. I have little confidence in the management team getting us out of this mess, its the behavior of the manager in the dugout area at Lye he was disgrace and after the match antics also with Jordan Harrison. Ashley Vincent missed a couple of the early games due to personal issues and then gets involved with the Stafford manager and gets himself sent off in front of the BBC news cameras. His team selections are a another issue, chopping and changing the side about, obvious got problems with Lockett and English and bringing in two unknown young players in, when we need quality. I made the 110 mile round trip to Gresley and watched a decent same with us being two down in ten minutes not helped by losing Craig Jones in the warm up, not much between the two sides only Gresley took there chances and we lacked anyone up front to take our chances in the second half . My main issue is the lack of discipline from the management team and the amount of red cards this season maybe caused by frustration . If the news reports are true about the damage to the dugout and dressing room area someone needs to be accountable for there actions. I think the supporters have been very supportive of the manager and the team this season and i have not seen anyone having a go at anyone, but i feel the Board to need to act soon to address all the current issues on and off the pitch.

A very fair assessment.
The fans are not happy, and when the supporter base has dwindled to so few then the fans views need to be addressed by the Board, not criticised via twitter.

Vincent has to be the worst manager I have ever seen in these 50 years that I have been watching City. He also has a team with no pace, no width and no height in attack. Why,oh why does the team play tippy tappy football in their own half and lose the ball in dangerous areas? 5 penalties conceded in 3 games is disgraceful, no wonder we can't win games if we are gifting other teams goals at this rate. If Vincent stays any longer, we may even be relegated. Surely the manager and the team should be able to see the way they are playing doesn't work in this league and to sort it out.

Let us be positive not negative you kmow it makes sense? Let's have an attitude check (with a nod to Tom Clancy) City are having a bad season. A positive attitude check I'm positive that City are having a bad season A negative attitude check I don't think City are having a good season On a more serious note, there doesn't appear to have been an official comment from the club regarding the alleged incident at Gresly. No "we are investigating" or "it didn't happen". It may be that things are going on in the background but it is now 3 days and the silence is both deafening and disappointing.

The difficulty with Kens post is, even though one might like to pay towards the players budget and help the manager, at the moment, it appears that the existing players budget hasnt been used very well by the manager.
Being completely pragmatic, the reason we are where we are in the table is that we havent won games, and the reasons for not winning games are pretty simple. Either the players aren't good enough, or the tactics aren't good enough, or the players are good enough but aren't pulling their weight.
If its the first, then the issue lies with who decided to bring those players in If its the second, then the issue lies with who decided to play those tactics If its the third, then the issue lies with who is tasked with inspiring the players, and giving them the confidence to play within a chosen system.
Of course, it could be a fourth, that we are simply unlucky, but as a pragmatist, luck shouldnt come into it.
One thing is for sure, I can positively say, that in order to change whats going on, there has to be change, whether its personnel, or attitude, or both. After 10 games we can already write off promotion, and that's way too early to do so.

Last season Vincent had a "get out of jail" card when the season finished early otherwise we would have finished about 4th off the bottom. So this season we've kept three quarters of last years squad with the same manager and expect to be near the top of the league. I watched most of last seasons home games and thought Lockett and English were 2 of our better players, so why are they not featuring now? I think a change is required now before we get dragged into a relegation scrap and try and save the season with a run in the Vase.
