Another game where we dug ourselves out of a hole after going 2-0 down inside 20 minutes. An impeccable minutes silence pre match to observe the recent sad passing of Johnny Kirkwood as well..

Thanks to Jezeph pulling off some cracking saves we got a draw. Could have been a lot worse. Some woeful passing. I thought Wulfrunians packed their defence well. The ref as usual at this level was sub par. Stopping the game at least 3 times for non head injuries. Even with a poor ref you have to ask for consistency.
Didn't see what started the scuffle at the end.

Good performances from Brown, Brain and Jezeph. It was an enjoyable game, but letting in two sloppy goals early on left a bad taste in my mouth. We really should have won.
I agree regarding the poor state of refereeing. I wonder who has it worse right now, us in the Midland Prem or the shambles of a situation regarding VAR in the Premier League?

Agree with all those points...we were pretty sloppy, although our first goal was absolutely top notch regards the movement and passing, someone in the stand was shouting at them to get it forwards quicker and not pass it back right in the middle of that move, I turned round after and said 'patience is a virtue my good sir!'
Got a feeling that we're saving our big performances for the FA Vase games anyway so roll on next Sunday....hopefully Ash will rest the majority for the Raiders clash in midweek...not worth the risk with bigger fish to fry. ☺☺

Dominic Dell, who scored the first goal for Wulfrunians, played 5 times for City (2 starts, 3 as sub) during the 13/14 season. His last appearance was as a sub against Gloucester City in December 2013, a game which is best remembered for the infamous pie throwing incident.

I knew we would struggle in that one as soon as the Worcester News trumpeted our excellent form against them.
Why do we have to keep giving people early goals and two goal starts?
