HT 0-1
Scrappy first half. Made a fair few chances but lacked the passing skill of the the last few games.

Well played Ash on the subs 3-2 with 10 minutes to go.

Fair play to the gaffer, got the subs bang on. Dadge changed the game. Sam Hall did really well, and Kurtis was probably the most effective I've seen him, controlled aggression and simple distribution. What a weak ref though. Let Dixon off with two deliberate handballs, utterly inept.

Well done him and the boys. Why is there a security man between the dugouts? Is it to separate home and away managers? Looks really odd. That's four home games in a row that the team have got a standing ovation off the pitch. Good stuff.

Another cracking game, to follow up the Shepshed win. I have to admit when Newark scored the second time I thought we were going to go down, but the substitutions, together with a grit and determination which is growing with keeping a settled squad, saw us through, and this against what has to be one of the better sides in the league.
One player who rarely rates a mention is Sam Hall, who - playing alongside Craig Jones - seems to have developed into a good defender: Jones has the experience and Hall the legs? Dan Jezeph was superb too. Could have done without the constant whinging from the away side's dugout, but it seems par for the course at this level.
Anyway, the result sent me home happy.
