Here's a list of our biggest wins in competitive matches:
21 Nov 1931 BL Bilston United 18-1 28 Dec 1929 BL Stourbridge 13-1 21 Apr 1930 BL Wellington SG 12-1 7 Jan 1933 BL Colwyn Bay 12-1 15 Mar 1976 SL1NOswestry Town 12-2 9 Mar 1940 SLW Barry 11-2 9 Jan 1932 BL Shrewsbury Town 10-1 8 Oct 1932 BL Oakengates Town 10-0 5 May 1934 BL Colwyn Bay 10-1 22 Feb 1930 BL Hednesford Town 9-0 27 Sep 1952 SL Dartford 9-0 4 Sep 1937 FAC Sutton Town 9-0 16 Nov 2019 MFL RC Warwick 9-0 24 Jan 1925 BL Hednesford Town 9-2 5 Oct 1929 BL Bilston United 9-2 4 Jan 1930 WSC Redditch 9-2 12 Dec 1959 SL Bedford Town 9-2 16 Mar 1940 SLW Gloucester City 9-3
As you can see, this is only the fourth time since the war that we've scored nine or more. I wonder if anyone who was there yesterday also saw the games v Oswestry in 1976 and v Bedford in 1959?

I was at the Oswestry game: it was my eldest daughter's 11th birthday and I said before the game perhaps they'll score 11 for you tonight. They went one better!
However the gloss was taken off the game for me: when the teams came off at the end the young Oswestry keeper was in tears.
