Now there's a blast from the past! Once saw him a score a cracker of a goal at Weston-Super-Mare, and of course there's the trademark somersault to look forward to.
But how will he fit in with Sean Brain?

Any truth in the rumours that we might be re-signing Johnny Fairbrother?

No no!! But I think there's mileage in the rumour of Barry Williams return. I guess, now we are so much lower down the pyramid, we can pick up some of our old players, as they get older and slower and also follow us down the pyramid. Do you think Boddy would still be saying "We are not a selling club!" ?

As Marco was 32 last week, does he really fall into that category?

The day we re-sign Danny Glover is the day I give up on WCFC! ! Any idea where Glover is nowadays? Last I heard he was at Nantwich playing with Clayton "turns like a double decker bus" Mcdonald, but not been in their team for a while that I've seen.

As Marco was 32 last week, does he really fall into that category? Yes, which is why he plays at this level of football now.

But still a better bet at present than Fairbrother or Williams?!! Indeed, this is his level now, and he'll probably still have enough in the tank to fit in.

Nor me either. Adaggio's game has always been based on sharpness, quick feet, and quick thought. Last night all 3 were absent.

Yes, once the quick feet stop dancing (they usually go before the quick thought) then no matter what age, the player is going to struggle. If I recall correctly, Paul Moss had become the shadow of his former self by 30.

His second game of the season, is about 60% match fit, give him chance!

So our manager chooses to play a 32 year old who's 60% fit rather than the guys who turn up for training week in week out, or a teenager who's scored 15 goals for the reserves this season? And we have to pay for the privilege of watching that play out. Can't help but feel short changed.

He was hopeless again last night by the way.
