As they play on Spalding's ground and Spalding crashed out of the Vase last Saturday I assume this will take place on the Saturday 12th, rather than the Sunday? Spalding's website shows no home game on 12th.

A excellent performance by Worcester City , who produced their best overall performance of the season, out classing and out passing Pinchbeck United. The main aim was to get through to next round with a clean sheet and £825 in the clubs coffers, and a good response to the negative comments from people outside the club taking cheap snipes at the club. City missed a early chance to go ahead with Sean Brain having his spot kick saved, Liam Lockett fired City in front and Brain added a second heading home from a corner. City added a third in the second half with a Brain effort which was deflected home by a Pinchbeck defender, the referee missed a nailed on penalty when Ruddock was bundled over. A nice day out in Spalding at a friendly club who ground share at Spalding who have a nice club house and serve decent food. A big well done to Ash and his team and all the players and to the small band of supporters who made the long trip to Spalding and to Richard Widdowson for his coverage of the game for WCFC TV you tube highlights. A unbeaten run in the league would help us climb the league in a season hampered by injuries and suspensions. I would like to thank our Chairman Steve Goode for all the work he has done to highlight the clubs plight and the injustice in getting the club back to the City of Worcester at Perdiswell.

And our reward is a nice home draw to Dunkirk on November 2nd. We were due to be at home that day anyway against Romulus, so that will now be a midweek game presumably?
