We were comprehensively beaten last night by a better side – would’ve been more if it wasn’t for Cann in goals.
Long Eaton were very good going forward and we couldn’t handle them. No surprise they have scored so many this season.
Long Eaton edged the first half, but we were not at the races in second half. Needlessly going down to 10 men at half time killed any realistic opportunity of getting anything out of the game. Heads dropped very quickly.

That result gives me no confidence for Saturday!

Can someone tell me, how many leagues are won or lost in August??
Exactly
Look at the side, it started with No Harrison, Lockett, Birch or Kelly.
Demetri Brown came off feeling a little tight.
Withington was in desperate need of a rest after his recent efforts and I'm told when he went off that is when Long Eaton started to take us apart.
Saturday starts with 11 vs 11. And with our strongest team bar Kelly.
Let's go an win!

totally agree Kev, it was a hiccup but thats football & the three games before the lads have been brilliant, give them support throughout the season & stop negative comments, totally new squad & they are giving their all, & heads will drop if we do not try & boost them when all is not going well

I agree with Kevin & Paul a blip!!
Just to let everyone on the banter board know my Worcester City Supporters Trust "Lucky Squares" Board H was completed at the Boldmere game last Saturday, and the square No 83 was the winner, the lucky person was K Minton who wins the £50 note in the envelope, opened by WCFC Company Secretary Andy Jones. Thank you to everyone who took part. A new board will be started on Monday 26th August at the WCFC v Stourport Swifts game.
