From the Worcester News
Preece boosted by injury news By Steve Carley
ANDY Preece is confident his squad is returning to something resembling normality after a spate of injuries.
The Worcester City boss has been forced to bring in cover for casualties after seeing his players drop like flies in recent weeks.
Adam Burley, Chris Smith, Rapinder Gill, Shabir Khan and Nick Colley have all been in the treatment room but now Burley (back) is the only player missing.
Walsall youngster Peter Doran and Paul Barratt, who is on Liverpool's books, have both been drafted in, while 19-year-old Patrece Liburd will be available for the visit of Harrogate on Saturday.
Preece said: "We seemed to have come through the Tel-ford match unscathed, although Graham Ward was struggling with his back but managed to get through 65 minutes.
"Patrece Liburd is a big, strong lad and still only young. He's left-footed, quick and is going to be a good addition to the squad and he will be available for Saturday.
"Hopefully, Shabir Khan will be fully fit as well so, defensively, we are looking a little bit better."
The manager added: "I know once we get everybody back I am confident we will do well in this league.
"I said at the start of the season that if we can get our strongest team out on the pitch we would be a match for anybody."
