I saw the unsavoury incident at the end and have to say It was disgusting and embarrassing. Why were our ‘fans’ calling the guy on the bench a ‘f *king paedophile? Why was this guy challenged to a fight?

First of all the game was s*** as usual.
1. It was not the ‘youth’ as people always seem to expect. 2. The chairman was nearby and so was another director.
What is it with the fans of this club wanting banning orders for every single problem that occurs amongst the fans, didn’t hear anyone say this about Bromsgrove fans when they caused troubled at all 3 fixtures last season.

So something kicked off at the end of the game that others here have described as "disgusting" and "distasteful." Should it be ignored as if it never happened?

Crikey. This is one step up from a pub league, what is it with "fans" of this club being incapable of acting in a manner of basic decency? Why do we have candidates for Darwin Awards watching Worcester City?

I wasn’t there, but if the incident was as described by others on here then it should absolutely result in a ban. You have to send a strong message that this kind of behaviour won’t be tolerated. All fans should feel welcome attending games. You don’t want an atmosphere where parents/grandparents don’t feel comfortable bringing children to games because they’re concerned that thugs looking to start a fight might be in attendance. Again, I wasn’t there, so if i’m getting the wrong end of the stick then I apologise.

The Worcester fans that got attacked were not looking for trouble, it was a bit of banter between fans and players/staff which is what’s expected at this level

Worcester fans got attacked? What was that all about? Using the language described isn't "banter" by the way. It shouldn't be tolerated. Why on earth should it be expected?

Some of the fans at this club literally moan at anything possible. Well, that kind of behaviour is not what non-league football is all about. Is it?

In reply to teej, the Worcester City fan who was abusing the Lye Kit man, got head butted in the face by I believe was the Lye Town physio/bucket and sponge man, who had two cuts on his forehead, where he broke the glasses in the butt of the Worcester fan. This was a nasty incident, started as abit of banter and ended with a violent skirmish, the chairman was close by and knows who the Worcester fan was, a 999 call was made and Police called, the build up and the incident was filmed by Rich Widdowson of the unprovoked attack GBH. Another poor result and got done by two headed goals, how can you play three at the back, poor tactics, the changes in the second half cost us the points lost all shape. I cannot believe the chairman and board have kept this Management team on for next season, so inconsistent and no real improvement , Snapper has had two seasons in charge in this league and still not got no idea what is required to make a go in this league. the dross we have had to suffer at home games has been painful to watch, the league table doesn't lie and 12th in the table behind the likes of Lye Town and Stourport Swifts is unacceptable .

An individual has been dealt with today internally by the Club.
I will be contacting my counterpart at Lye tomorrow for further discussion on the incident.

The Lye Town Kit man is Nigel Clemment who received the abuse, it may be his son who committed the GBH, Police were called , not sure if they bothered to turn up, Rich Widdowson has all the evidence on film. A unnecessary nasty incident which gives the club a poor image, I applaud the club for taking prompt action on the person involved.

I’m so glad I have stopped going to the games now. And to be honest unless there are changes then I won’t be going again! From all the dross I hear on this board and from what I hear from other fans who go to the game it sounds like I’m better off for it. I think it’s time to go and watch Hereford down the road rather than this amateur pub league crap!

Typical city fans once again thinking other city fans started the fight, yes what he said was unacceptable but there wasn’t any need for the headbutt. Just like Ilkeston most ‘city fans’ again blaming other city fans for starting fights.

The Lye Town manager says the Worcester City fans think they can get away with abusing people as they are a big club, the person involved got banned by the club. The Lye Town member of the backroom who entered a spectator designated area and head butted a Worcester fan in the face appears to got away with it , as no police arrived after a 999 called was made. The Lye manager tried to justify the attack as as the thugs girlfriend who is pregnant got some abuse, this thug should of been charged with affray and GBH as the incident was filmed by a Trust board member. This person should be banned from football for life as a member of the backroom staff he has crossed the line , and his actions should be punished by the Midland Premier League. I witnessed the build up and the incident involved and the Lye manager said it was nothing, it may be the norm in Lye in a lawless society, the Police are a disgrace for not turning up also, this is non League football not a after match brawl on a sunday morning .

I’ve been going to Hereford again for a couple of seasons, decent gates & a good atmosphere in the meadow end. As for the trouble last Saturday, before the match as far as I could see it it was more of a sing off than fighting, until 20-30 police with a few dogs arrived ‘heavy handed’. I can’t comment on the after match events as I never saw it.
