Worcester Evening News report club accounts published 2017-2018 - a £71,000 loss, yes, you read that right not a misprint. How do you make such a loss in the MPL? Now only £135,000 left in the kitty and ‘unlikely to return to Worcester for some years”.
The clubs future existence still very much in doubt?

Well £1000 per game for a ground share soon eats up the money

Putting a few of the recent articles together......Those accounts were from before the Goode Board was in place, but the current playing budget is the same set by the previous board before the season started.
So the question is; did the previous Board tighten the purse strings before the current season started to ensure we don't lose money this season, or is it planned that we are still going to make a loss this season? Hopefully not a loss this season as Steve said (on the radio) that some of the players are only on £20 a week.

And I think that a few more shares have been purchased ,and with an AGM to take place, with a chance of changing the constitution things are looking a little better.

I just wish that more supporters had done what it would have taken to remove the previous Board before we lost nearly £300,000 in one year. Ok we might not have fulfilled fixtures, we would probably have been kicked out of the league, we might have been able to reform and be placed in the Midland Football League. Unfortunately, best intentions don't always provide the right results, and keeping the club alive over the last three years has cost the football club well over £500,000. Sometimes starting over is the best thing to do.
