A good start by the City with Webster hitting a great shot. After that downhill as the defence was all over the place along with Danny. We stood off them in the first half, so they played triangles around us and their play going forward was excellent with two lively forwards and a nifty left winger. Their third goal was excellent . Their only weak link looked to be their lumbering keeper who let us back into it just before half time letting in a weak free kick from the ineffective Clegg. Second half we got stuck in more and held our own without creating too many clearcut chances. Macca carried the midfield again I'm afraid, and the defence badly misses Thompson's presence from last year. A fair result as they deserved to win for their attacking flair. Danks and Webster whilst whole hearted don't really look like scoring although the quality of the passes( hoofs forward ! ) they have to chase left a lot to be desired. Kettering had flair and pace, we didn't. We also seem unable to change the way we play with the fallback plan being to throw on Wilding and Wood and have all 4 forwards on at the same time and just hoping something happens - a familiar AP approach I fear. Could be a long cold winter down the Lane.

Thanks Wayne, but the new website, although looking good, is loading at snails pace again.

alwaysnextyear agree completely with your post, both home games so far have seen us losing at half-time and our only tactic seems to be throw more strikers on the pitch and fewer chances created. Hyde in the first game went down to 10 men replaced their striker for a lone striker who preceded to lead our defence a "merry dance"!!. Kettering replaced their front two yesterday and both of them made chances which they wasted. I would like to see Wilding start a game with Danks and Webster drop down to the bench. I also have a concern with Ryan Clarke, I think he's been responsible for the free headers that opponents have scored against us in the 3 games I've attended, (Hyde, Hinckley & Kettering) large parts of the game seem to pass him by. My final concern is yesterdays attendance, I'm aware people are on holiday, nice weather, bank holiday weekend etc, but 938 with Kettering providing 245 (according to Worcester's Public Address System) means that yesterdays gate was below 700 worcester followers nowhere near the 1,200 hoped for

Like suv above I was dismayed by Saturday's attendance; it would appear our core support has shrunk even further from 900 down to 700. If results don't pick up soon it could shrink further than that.
I noticed Kettering, having done the damage, withdrew both their class strikers in Saturday's heat, thus allowing them to recover in good time for Monday's match. What did we do? Played on with the same forwards. Pah!

What would you want us to do? withdraw our strikers when losing a game?
