Another frustrating performance to watch from the main stand, we are certainly not at the races at the moment, and a disappointing display on non league day with a extra hundred or so on the gate. The positives were the result and being in the next round of the FA Vase which has brought extra prize money into the club. A much improved performance is need in the next game against Leaders Ilkeston next Saturday to boost our league challenge. Man of the match Tyler Weir who scored both goals. Its disappointing new signing Josh Hesson threw his shirt to the ground in the tunnel after the game after coming on at the end of the game as a substitute, maybe frustrated at lack of game time.

I think the weather kept a few fans away. The second half was dire but the first half was promising. The wind was a major factor, including blowing United's number 8 over, making him need physiotherapy😀

Weather was horrible on the day - apparently the winds were strong enough to blow my laptop off the press bench and onto the floor when I went to make a cuppa!.. thankfully it was rescued by a gent in the stands, and still works! A decent first half with the only real moans going to balls being 10-15 yards off where they were intended, but I think a lot of that was wind - corner flag by the away turnstiles blew towards the road, those 'town end' blew towards the main stand - must have been horrible to play in. Second half was unattractive, and 10 man Long Eaton probably deserved a draw. For me Jezeph was the key player for City once again, I didn't rate him much to begin with but really do think he's learning his trade well and will only improve. Up next is Step 5 Desborough from the UCL www.worcestercityfc.org/news/fa-vase-2nd-round-draw-2357608.html To be played on Sunday 4th November.

Very disappointing game to watch, spoilt by over-zealous refereeing and an atrocious wind. Jordan Harrison badly needs a hold-up player (such as Nick Turton) if he is to prove effective.
Last time Tyler scored two was against Boston United at Aggborough: remember them?
Incidentally the last post has confused the date: it's Sunday November 4th.
