City will enter the first round of the FA Vase, taking on Long Eaton United at home.
The game is to be played on either Saturday 13th or Sunday 14th October 2018 at the Victoria Ground

Is it on the Saturday, now that Sporting lost in the FAT? (They are scheduled to be away in league on 13th v Barton Rovers).

Barton Rovers also got knocked out of the Trophy so, surely, the league match (originally scheduled for 24th November) will go ahead on that day as scheduled. I'm working on the basis the Vase tie is now on SATURDAY 13th October.
This is now confirmed by the City's website. Incidentally, it means we'll be "at home" three successive Saturdays!

Round Two : we are HOME again to Desborough Town. Match to be played on SUNDAY November 4th as Bromsgrove are at home on 3rd.
Desborough Town sit 12th in United Counties Premier (also @ Step 5) and have only won twice, but have drawn plenty and only lost three.

Let's hope the weather is 'reasonable' around the 2nd/3rd Nov with no major downpours (or snow!  ). We don't need a waterlogged and/or churned up pitch for the 4th. |
