If we’re going to protest we need to do it properly. Flag is brilliant, but we need loads of people, we need to march on the pitch and really let them know

...and really let them know They know. They just don't care what we think.

It's also a pretty stupid thing to do, when you think about it.
It would solve nothing and achieve nothing at all, and just give the Board some unnecessary ammunition to say about those who don't like them.
The Board were all there today, they certainly took notice of the banner. Layland took photos of the banner, whilst Hampson hid under his baseball cap.
As for the football, plenty of huffing and puffing from both sides, but with two strong defences, there was no one on the pitch with the guile or skill to unlock either defence. Brad Birch was the only midfielder making runs into the box, and had a very good game.

Birch was excellent today, never stopped working. That's three days he's played in 5 days!

There was plenty of effort for sure, Brad especially worked his socks off. Boldmere looked much more solid than when we beat them at the start of the season and worked hard to earn their point. Sadly though we've dropped 4 points in 8 days. Meanwhile Coleshill and Sporting both won yesterday. Both play on Tuesday night, the gap at the top of the table is looking harder and harder to bridge.

With Hampson's recent comment of "If my fellow directors decide they want to carry on for promotion,we would have to determine how we could afford that and have any hope of the Parsonage Way plan. It is one thing or the other as far as I can see ".
3rd place at best should suit him just fine then.
For all we know, he might have applied for another demotion to eke out what little funds remain ?

Yes, big game for Coleshill/Highgate on Tuesday night; 27/03/18 19:45 Highgate United v Coleshill Town & some more between the top clubs; 31/03/18 15:00 Sporting Khalsa v Highgate United 02/04/18 15:00 Coleshill Town v Bromsgrove Sporting 10/04/18 19:45 Bromsgrove Sporting v Worcester City 21/04/18 15:00 Worcester City v Highgate United

They had two very competent defenders (5 and 6), good in the air, so we kept floating high balls into the box: manna from heaven as far as they were concerned. I'd agree Birch was excellent: apparently Stourbridge were playing up North so his work commitments meant he played more locally for us.
Didn't think the referee gave us much, but then they never seem to do so: is it because they perceive us as the "big club" and so go out of their way to lean in the opposite direction? Having said that I thought Boldmere had a reasonable claim for a penalty when Gwynne held back their forward. Had VAR been in place I wonder if his save, when he was clearly - even from where I sat - over the line, would have been ruled a goal?
All-in-all a disappointing afternoon.

Certainly a little too close for comfort, both the penalty shout and the goal-line judgement. Wouldn't have complained much if either had been given.
