22 games left to play in 14 weeks - that's going to be tough. Maybe it's the norm for this level of football though as it's evident that grass pitches aren't as good as at CN level.

Any chance some of these games could be played (if pitch is good enough) next day on a Sunday? I'm sure the clubs would be up for it?

The only positive was Bromsgrove Sporting losing 3-2 away at Haughmond , we are going to need a fit squad to meet the demands of a congested fixture list in the race to keep in contention to catch the chasing pack.

Although we've hardly played in the last 2 months, the fixture pileup is not too dissimilar to other teams around us. We only have the league to focus on, no Vase or local cup games to add to the fixture pileup. Below is how many games clubs up the top end of the league have left to play
Games left to play: Worcester City: 22 (22 league) Bromsgrove Sporting: 22+ (20 league, 1+ local cup, 1+ FA Vase) Coleshill Town: 21+ (19 league, 1+ league cup, 1+ FA Vase) Sporting Khalsa: 19+ (18 league, 1+ local cup) Coventry Sphinx: 19 (19 league) Highgate United: 21 (21 League)
Spare a thought for Stourport Swifts with their fixtures left to play: 25+ (23 league, 1+ Local cup, 1+ Fa Vase) With their pitch apparently not being all too good at the moment, it's quite likely they will have a lot to play in April!

Remember Canvey Island's fixture list after their cup run was 12 games in the last 17 days of the season!

Coleshill beat Long Eaton 7-1 last night and are now 14 points ahead of us, having played 4 games more.

IF we win our games in hand, it's an incredibly close run in.
No easy games though, as we learned at Shawbury.

I don't underestimate the desire of our squad, but we have to play Coleshill away, Bromsgrove away, Khalsa home and Highgate home. Realistically we need to win three of those and hope the teams above us all drop points in other games. If we lose to Westfields and Khalsa it would be season over in my view. Win both and we're very much in the mix.

KIm-Jong-Trump Hampson will find a way of avoiding promotion. Like releasing all the strikers if we're scoring too many goals, then coming up with some bollocks about budgets. Assuming he knows which players are strikers. Someone really ought to tell him one day that Worcester are the team in blue and white when they play at Bromsgrove.
