What is it that other clubs seem to see in Josh Sarmento besides blistering pace? End product is hit and miss, decision making erratic at best, positional sense of a lemming and a total lack of awareness of anyone else around him on the pitch. Not to mention being a defensive liability. You don't even need to mark him as he will fook it up on his own without anyone around most of the time. Hope there's a fee involved!

I could be wrong, but I think it was said initially that a 7 day approach was put in, meaning he's not on a contract we can get a fee for.

The phrase "dual registration" was mentioned by John Snape which suggests Josh may be back sooner rather than later. I'm quite surprised that players at MFL level have agents! But it's only natural that a young player at this level should aspire to something higher.

Let's hope the agent teaches him how to cross a ball. Would be happy to swap him for Liam Lawrence and a bag of quavers.

Josh Sarmento has agreed terms with Rushall Olympic - He makes a two step climb up the leagues with the move.

We won't miss him that much: we have Baldwin (OK, not a lot better) and Alex Tomkinson. He was a hit and miss performer anyway.

Joshwatch - made his debut for Rushall Olympic today (though they seem to think his name is Jordan Samento). Came on as sub at half time, hit the post, and was subbed off after 61 mins. 16 minute debut. Probably sick three or four times during that 16 mins as well, squealed like a greased pig at least twice and got in his team-mates way at least twice. He'll be back by Saturday.

Snape confirmed post match that he's on a dual reg. If I'm honest, I cannot see him staying around at that level just yet. Should have stayed and developed his game here.

Josh played again for Rushall Olympic, was subbed midway through the second half in a 3-3 home draw against Whitby Town.

Bekir Halil, a winger/full-back from Hinckley AFC, is training with City.I Understand he has yet to sign but is set to to ahead of Saturday. Bekir played 22 times for Sporting Khalsa last season.

Where does it say that?
Sad to see Brad go, he's a good player at this level but I guess he's seen the writing on the wall.
It's like last season all over again.

Seen that now, wasn't in the WN report. Can't see him making a return though.

Stourbridge can release Brad to play for us if they do not have a game.

Stourbridge can release Brad to play for us if they do not have a game. Correct, same with Hughesy. I fully expect to see Brad again, maybe sooner rather than later. Busy few days on players front, watch this space

Stourbridge still have 12 league games to play so I'd be surprised if Brad is loaned back to us, but maybe they've looked to acquire his signature early for next season.
Credit to the management for bringing in so many new faces, it suggests to me that Hughes and Birch were our biggest earners. I don't know what vision for the way ahead the management have shown to these players to attract them, as a supporter my understanding is that there is still a choice to be made between "fully amateur" and aspiring for promotion.

Am I right in saying that there has been no formal statement from the club to explain what is happening currently and why?

Am I right in saying that there has been no formal statement from the club to explain what is happening currently and why? Could you clarify on which bit? There's been quite a lot going on! As regards to players leaving, you'd have to ask them their reasons... however each has either gone up the leagues, or has left to further their career (Thomas). Regarding anything else, let us know what you'd like a statement about (to do with transfer speculation etc) and I'll ask the question!
