I am really disappointed in most of the incredibly negative comments about Tim. He is without doubt a dedicated stalwart of WCFC, as was his mother & a few more of his family. Ok, so I disagree with most of his sentiments. But he is entitled to his own opinions & should be allowed to voice them, as we are to disagree with them. However, a verbal(written on here) debate is far more constructive than what appears to be coming over on here as insinuated personal slurs.
Tim, keep your opinions & options open until the day we can convince you differently.
Regards Jim

You're absolutely right regarding the right to speak your mind Jimbo, but I don't think the replies to TM's postings have bordered on "personal slurs". Maybe I've read them wrongly.

I think his comments were really quite insulting to trust members so maybe he wants to think about moderating his own language when criticizing others. I am certainly not apologizing for my comment.

Tim ( as indeed can everyone else ) can say what he wants ( within litigious reasons ) on this forum - most of us do. I agree with some forumites and disagree with others. I've read all the posts and don't read any as "personal slurs " at all. Is everyone " offended " or " insulted " these days ?
In the overall scheme of life, there's 50 of us commenting on the decline of a football club being run into the ground by 4 others.

I don't see anything negative or personal towards Tim Munslow. He made some pretty ridiculous comments and was given very valid reasons why he was wrong. Problem?? Sir Digby Chicken Caesar - no nom de plume!!

Likewise I cannot see any "insinuated personal slurs." Tim said he was playing devil's advocate so quite clearly his post was going to get a reaction, but this has been about the points he raised, it's not been abusive towards him. I would be interested to read what Tim has to say about the responses, bearing in mind he was keen to generate discussion on some important issues.

Discussion got a little heated, but I’d say it stayed within the confines of healthy debate. The only personal slurs I seen were directed at Brad Birch.
Tim admitted that he wasn’t aware of Birch’s previous assault conviction when he posted. So his defence of him was without that in mind, he was just defending someone he had personal experience of.
I criticised Birch in my posts, but I wasn’t aware of his assault conviction either. I’d guess there’s not many that do.
Edit - I’ve not read the other thread he was posting in. Not sure if that’s what this post is referring to rather than the Birch incident.

I don't know Tim but I expect I might well know the face. I don't think I have said anything particularly negative about him personally? How can I?I don't know him! I do think his judgement is seriously flawed in supporting the hopeless regime that have wrecked, and continue to wreck,WCFC but I think that of everyone who still goes and that includes some very good friends of mine. That's life. In response though I have, along with others, been referred to as a keyboard warrior and a troll and accused of hiding behind a false name.I think the boot might be on the other foot here Jimbo

All this nom de plume nonsense! For all I know Tim Munslow might well be a nom de plume, I don't know because I don't care. I don't know the man, and apart from both having watched WCFC for a number of years, we have nothing in common, so I have no need to know him.
