You must have been apoplectic with rage when John Snape signed as a player then? Why? I knew little of John Snape in 2002. My opinion of Snape back then was merely that he was a sub-standard footballer. If you were to tell me back then they he would one day be the manager of WCFC, I would have laughed in your face. It was only in very recent years when the character of John Snape revealed itself to me that I learned how much of a threat to the club he really is. |

I can tell every supporter, who doesnt already know, that John Snape provides no threat whatsoever to the football club, other than not getting us promoted. But considering no manager has managed to do that for almost 40 years, he'll be in good company.John Snape is no different to any other football manager, he's got a shelf life of maybe two more years, and then he'll be gone. He has no influence over the Board, he never has had any influence over the Board, other than for matters that have been delegated to him, which are purely football related matters (just like any other manager, in any other business). Lets be realistic. John Snape is our manager, not because he's the best available, but that he's simply available at the right price, which is very very cheap. If we don't get promotion, he'll be gone, and the next manager will be the best we can get for free. At this level, managers do it for free.
John Snape also has no influence, no lackeys, and also no interest in being involved with the Supporters Trust. Apart from being invited to talk at one meeting (to add a bit of football content only, as the Board refuse to hold any kind of fans forum) Snape has never even mentioned the Supporters Trust, I doubt he has any knowledge of what a CBS, or a CIC is. And ironically, if as Genghis likes to think, Snape wants to take over WCFC, then the last people he wants around are the Supporters Trust! Think about it!!
The demise of WCFC is 100% related to the activities of both the former Board, and the present Board, and as a shareholder and a former Board member, it beggars belief that supporters still seem to accept that losing £7.3 million, our home ground for over 100 years, and our place in the Conference League is ok. It's not! John Snape is not, has not, and never will be the problem. In fact, he saves the club money by saving on toilet roll! Don't let the ignorant claims of Genghis detract from the truth.

Its meant to be a load of crap. Its a banter board, we talk about anything and everything and fly off at tangents and sometimes come back. Its like Danny Bakers 606 before they spoil t it by talking about football all the time.
Genghis is hilarious, and lets face it, we've never had a manager with plans to invade Poland before!!
