Following the statement from the Worcester City board of directors issued on the 10th of February we are gravely concerned both at the content of the statement and by the lack of communication from the club, both to fans and shareholders.
We wrote to the club on Monday February 6th seeking to re-establish communication between the club and the Trust imploring that we work together to have any chance of securing the future of Worcester City FC. That email was acknowledged but no response received.
We have written again today to the board asking if the board are willing to meet or merely happy to proceed along their current path with no involvement with the Trust? Either way we think shareholders need to be appraised of the board’s intentions with respect to the club’s financial position. The board’s lack of openness and transparency about the club's future is a cause of concern to shareholders, fans and the wider community.
We await their response but will organise a fans meeting with the utmost urgency to discuss our predicament. We will invite the directors to attend so perhaps we can show a unified front going forward
