Saw in the NLP that the away following was 82.I thought that was pretty good given the distance, weather and time of year etc. Couldn't make it myself due to work.Frustrated about that as I have never been and have missed two opportunities(Sutton were there in the league some weeks ago)to visit this year.

I would imagine many of the 95% could identify who the 5% were?

This abusive behaviour is nothing new towards our manager and players, I remember a FA Cup game in 2011 against Goldalming Town which turned nasty with supporters and players involved at full time. We all get frustrated after watching a poor performance, but its not helpful and need to fully support the management and players.

I would imagine many of the 95% could identify who the 5% were? Too right, someone will know who these idiots are and we don't need them. Carl is nothing if not honest. He always does his very best for the club and performs wonders on such a limited budget. Anyone who doesn't understand that and gets on his and the players backs (especially when playing teams from higher leagues) are not worthy of the Club or the team. Incidentally what happened to that vociferous group of lads who were so boisterous and noisy in supporting us at Aggborough? I know at times they were a little over exuberant and words had to be had with them but they created an atmosphere AND they were young supporters who as they grow up need to hang on to.

Get well soon Colby, hope the injury isn't as serious as it first sounds.

5% is only 4 people. Should be easy enough to recognise?

I couldn't go on Saturday, but now the highlights are on YouTube at
That John Parkin is a big lad. Looks like we were beaten fair and square.

5% is only 4 people. Should be easy enough to recognise? Well they are behind the goal most home games, I'm sure you all could confront them if you really wanted too! As for using the word 'abuse' I'm not so sure. A few supporters were questioning the tactics on Saturday, and quite rightly. I was to a little annoyed at how we had set up to play the match. A few supporters questioned this quite voicecifouresly. As a manager he should expect some jeers. Just because some people do question him sometimes and doesn't kiss his ass all the time like some supporters, doesn't make them any less of a supporter.

Did these same people also have a go at Junior English, as alleged by Carl?

The voiciferous lads from Aggborough probably like it at Bromsgrove as much as me!

I much prefer Bromsgrove. Much better than playing at a borough with only half the ground open and swathes of empty seats

I concur! We can make proper non-league decisions like, how long do we stand in the rain before taking cover? And by the time we've decided, the games over! And the linesman can actually hear the individual berating - followed by an apology

....We can make proper non-league decisions like, how long do we stand in the rain before taking cover? ........... Fortunately, York City alleviated any such decision making by not having any covered area available........luckily it didn't rain However the balance of decision making was restored by having to determine whether to go to the toilet before it got dark.......on account of there being no lighting in either the gents or the ladies conveniences! Dodger.

Dodger!! Thats exactly it!! I don't think there was a light in the toilets on the Brookside at SGL, I'm not sure there was actually a toilet in there! I remember going to the toilet at Wellings Park View Road ground, which was an apt name, as the toilet had no roof, and the low wall gave you the perfect park view!!

Do these same people shout abuse at chefs in restaurants because they're not cooking the food how they want to? Would they shout abuse at Gordon Ramsay that his team can't cook?

I wish we had signed Gordon ramsey when he lived at stratford! instead of travelling all the way to rangers. anyway some people will moan about anything. I think I have mentioned our friendly against Tulsa roughnecks in 1979 before but it was basically an exhibition game against loads of old top flight players which we lost 3-2. we didn't lose many at the time and as the manager walked off some bloke was shouting, bloody rubbish Clarke! at nobby
