George Williams didn't manage a double over Coventry City yesterday when MK Dons lost to them in the FA Cup

Two of the Coventry team yesterday played against us in 2014 including keeper Lee Burge, who received the red card for kicking Daniel Nti.

Ex Worcester City Tom Thorley made his 200th appearance for Hednesford Town since his move from us in November 2013, a top player in our midfield, who left the club due to travelling problems from his home in Stafford.

Lee Hughes with a 90th minute winner for Halesowen last night (Witton 2-3 Halesowen).......also got the assist for their 2nd. Another big away win for Yeltz in their bid to avoid the drop,

Former City players Alex Gudger and Aaron Williams were both Wembley winners this afternoon as Brackley Town beat Bromley on penalties to lift the FA Trophy.

I see a lot of Brackley as they are fairly local to me.Gudger has played really well for them,hence the move I suppose.Wish him well except for the two fixtures against Sutton when I hope he has real stinkers!!

Leamington left-back Connor Gudger badly injured in a 50/50 challenge. Apparently he was out cold for up to 6 minutes, lost some teeth and has a possible broken jaw. He's being kept in Manchester overnight at least.

Val Chamberlain Simesy, it's Dawn, Conner is not in hospital now. He's ok, on way home will need check up again tomorrow

Halesowen's keeper was carried off injured after about 40 minutes of their match at Bedworth. The "substitute" goalie was the old war horse himself Lee Hughes!!!
The Yeltz won 1-0 with Hughes making an important stop in the dying moments.

Three other ex-City players on the pitch - Tom Sharpe (Bedworth), Kieran Morris and Asa Charlton (Halesowen). It's 16 years since Charlton first played for us.

Another player scored a hat-trick last Saturday - leastways I assume it was him, as it's his neck of the woods: Danny Glover got a hat-trick for Nantwich in their 3-2 win against Scarborough.

I see former City loanee ( 2016 in Nat North - loaned from Walsall at the time ) Amadou Bakayoko came off the bench today and scored the winning 2 goals for Coventry at Charlton today. He scored 3 in 9 games for us.

I was looking through clubs website and found the following ex Worcester City players , Solihull Moors , Ryan Boot, Alex Gudger and Jordan Murphy, Stockport County , Sam Minihan and Jordan Keane, Stafford Rangers , Tom Thorley, Kyle Perry and Paul Hayward as a Goal keeping coach, Brackley Town , Daniel Nti , Stratford Town , Michael Taylor and Nathan Vaughan , Hednesford Town ,Jose Veiga on bench, Halesowen Town, Asa Charlton, Lee Hughes and Tom Warmer, Colchester United , Ethan Ross 2nd/3rd choice keeper. Bewdley Town our star signing Ryan Rowe . Nice to keep a check on the ex players to see how some have progressed and some are on the way down.

Well, it definitely is him 'cos there was a picture in the NLP last Sunday which confirms it is the same person.
Did any eagle-eyed viewers also spot Andy Preece on the touchline, presumably on the coaching staff for Guiseley? I caught a brief glimpse during the FA Cup highlights on BBCW2 but it was definitely him. High powered management: Marcus Bignot and someone else joint managers as well as Preece.
