Agreed. Jackman has all the tools necessary to suggest he'd be a fine manager.

For what it's worth I don't rate Snape. He had little ability as a player (he tried hard) and has shown nothing to suggest he could be a successful manager at any level. Danny Jackman would have jumped at the chance of managing Worcester City but was ignored. Another Hampson error in my opinion Danny said he did not want the manager roll when asked...

Jackman was offered the chance to be co-manager with Snape, who could blame him for turning down working with a man of John Snape's character.

genghis, Who hurt you son? It's not healthy to carry all that anger around, have you consider seeing a therapist?
In the meantime the rest of us who support City, through thick and thin (as Tim points out mostly thin in recent times) are looking forward to the new season and seeing how we do with our new players and management team. Pre-season's a time to be optimistic and look forward so don't try and spoil it with a narrow personal agenda.

So if Abu Hamza was appointed manager we should just fall in line and support the club without question? That's the kind of mindless loyalty that Snape relies on.

As far as I'm aware, Mr Hamza doesn't have his coaching badge. Therefore unlikely to figure in City's plans. (Plus life without parole is another stumbling block)

Wait to completely miss the point. Or is that willfully ignore the point because you don't like hearing the truth about Snape?

Don't you get it? We don't care about Snape!

You have missed the point son.....we dont care about your vendetta against John Snape,he will be judged for what happens on the field this season.
We beg you....stop this talk about Abu Hamza and trying to tarnish the managers name.
Support the club, support the players.
Note that two or three posters have your views, one of which was asked to back up their view....they never posted again.....majority of the posters on this site simply believe you have a problem with John Snape.
I only hope you put as much effort into supporting the Perdiswell bid tomorrow !

I only hope you put as much effort into supporting the Perdiswell bid tomorrow ! I support the club and the players. I also support WCFC returning to Worcester where they belong. But at this stage I wouldn't be surprised to hear of Snape insisting on a throne room for himself as part of the Perdiswell bid. He has enough lackeys in the trust to push for such a thing. We'll just have to agree to disagree on Snape. If you all just want to rate him on his on-pitch performances then that's your perogative. I just feel that if you all met him you would change your tune fast.

Well if Abu Hamza does become manager perhaps Snape could stay on as his assistant. After all, Abu would need a hand - or two.

We just want to rate him on his on-pitch performance because thats all that matters when it comes to Snape, and thats all he's got any responsibility for. If he wants to bring his own throne, then fair enough, a man like you describe would already have one! The Supporters Trust also don't care about Snape, as he is a football matter, the Supporters Trust have no involvement in footballing matters.

This is all just stupid. A former player (or relation of) clearly upset because they fell out with someone, just ruining the use of a forum. Every thread doesn't have to be about your topic, create your own thread and use that to vent your anger. Now, back to the topic at hand, Mark Danks and Shab Khan have both been given terms for the coming season at City. Both of course were with us whilst at The Lane, and personally, I'm delighted that they've returned. Both played last night against Evesham... sadly Shab went off due to a head injury, and Danks missed a penalty in the shootout. Lets hope the next game is better for them both!

Ebby Nelson-Addy has started the season playing for the mighty Barton Rovers in the Evo-Stick South East, alongside another City player from last season, Nathan Olukanmi.

Darren Campion is now the caption of Walsall Wood FC, who play in the division below City.
Shaun Donellan is on a season long loan at proper Walsall, linking up with Amadou Bakayoko who's banging them in for fun at the moment.
