Just heard reports that Boston have not been allowed to compete in the Conference next season - but have been kicked down to the Blue Square North.
Reports also state that Altrincham will stay in the Conference National as a result

Yes - we'll have to see what sort of Boston comes down.
I believe that they will also start on -10.

No ten point deduction. Will start on zero, like everyone else.

On one level it's bad news re promotion prospects, but (depending on their ability to re-group) it means the quality of this level of football should be improving. We just have to keep up with that improvement level of course!

Will the waters have receded far enough to allow us to play Boston? We should be able to find our way there as King John found his way to Worcester (admittedly after death!).
Am I the only one who finds this merry-go-round after the season has ended a bit of a farce?

Cracking ground (all covered) ... 10,000 capacity.
Remember having a lovely pint (Batemans) in the clubhouse.

I read on the Conference website that, owing to their financial plight, Boston United may not be able to satisfy the FA financially, and may be unable to compete in either the FA Cup or Trophy. Talk about kicking a man when he's down!

Well they brought it on themselves.....should never have been allowed in the league in the first place after the scams they pulled. At least Evans has now found the ideal place for his unique style of management........Crawley! They should be well suited.

I agree on that score; it was Dagenham who should have been the most aggrieved, 'cos Boston took the place that should have been theirs. However, all's well that ends well.
