I watched the Friday edition from the BBC website but City weren't included in it. The web version of the programme lasted only 18 minutes and didn't include any of the sports coverage which had been referred to at the beginning of the programme. What did I miss about City?

We're merging with Scarborough, home games to be played in Fishguard. It's a compromise, but hey - nothing's perfect.

Kieran
Let me put you out of your misery. It wasnt a feature about Worcester - it was a feature about grassroots football (some initiative, I'm not sure which), but they interspersed a load of shots of kids playing on astroturf with footage of Webby's winner against Chippenham, a bit of AP in action, a few shots of SGL etc.

Thanks, Andy. I must say I'm a little puzzled about grassroots football being played on astroturf.

It was kids - mostly pre-teens - dreaming of making it in the big time. Hence the pictures of City players.

Nothing wrong with kids dreaming of making it big in any sport, it's the parents living their dreams through their children I have a problem with. More dreamers would leave us with fewer health issues in kids. I recently asked a class of 11 year olds to run around a full size football pitch, only 5 of the 24 made it round without stopping. The majority left the field eating crisps, drinking Coke, supplied by their parents.

The grassroots ( /astro turf) football exhibition was on at the Ricoh arena (Coventry) on Saturday & Sunday. It was a good show. I got the chance to take a look around the stadium as well mmm nice little plot...wont be a patch on ours though
