I thought it would be interesting to start a thread specifically to log the comings and goings, management wise, of all our opponents next season.
Apart from the vacancy @ Kettering, it seems Stalybridge are now looking for a new manager, having not renewed John Reed's contract.

Is the manager's job at Kettering vacant already?

Westley was only employed for a maximum of 6 games (assuming they won the play-off finals) I don't think he won any of the 4 he was actually involved in. The circus that is Kettering Town continues to entertain as Ladak extends his expertise in providing temporary staff in medical practices into temporary staff at football clubs!!!

I forgot to add Alfreton to the list; due to "unveil a new manager next week".
(Didn't know men wore veils these days - still could be a female manager I guess).

Noted. I forgot to add Leigh RMI to the list; I believe their manager has resigned in the last week.

Didnt he get Tamworth promoted from our level together with Gary Mills?

Didnt he get Tamworth promoted from our level together with Gary Mills? He was assistant manager under Darron Gee when the Lambs won the Southern League championship. Mills was the manager before Gee as well as being the current manager since Cooper left.

He got Tamworth promoted...and relegated, since it was his side that Gary Mills inherited on his return to The Lamb.

I'm worried for Big Ron. He's not been offered a Director of Football job anywhere in the last 15 days. Perhaps we could have a collection for him?

I'm worried about Old Ron too, he gets more orange by the day, giving David Dickinson a run for his money now!!!

Wouldn't it be easier if Ron were made Director of Football for the entire world? Then he wouldn't have to wake up each morning and think - "which half-arsed town am I off to today?"

I like the bit which says "Not only was the biggest budget in the history of this football club misspent, we now have less revenue for next season and less funding..."
Chickens coming to roost eh? Sounds like another Weymouth saga; how long before we read of Ladak's bankruptcy? I would rather struggle along like City than have some unreliable sugar-daddy masterminding things.

Ladak is unlikely to go bankrupt, he has a very solid business. His understanding of the locum business is clearly very good, his understanding of the non-league football business has so far appeared woeful.

I believe this was widely expected after his somewhat acrimonious departure from Northwich Victoria.

Two managers have left their clubs.
Tommy Cassidy has left Workington to take the helm at Newcastle Blue Star.
Andy Legg has resigned from Hucknall Town after their poor start to the season.

Andy Legg has resigned from Hucknall Town after their poor start to the season. David Lloyd, Gainsborough Trinity assistant manager and former Alfreton Town manager, has been appointed as Hucknall Town boss.

Apart from the vacancy @ City there is also a vacancy at Barrow now after the departure of Phil Wilson. Barrow is not so far from Blackpool (far enough, but certainly not as far as Worcester) so who knows?
And is the Andy Legg who said he would be interested in the City job if approached (!) the same Andy Legg mentioned above? If so he's a non-starter for the City job surely?

As reported elsewhere on this message board, but just to keep this thread up to date, Paul Mitchell has resigned as manager of Gainsboro' Trinity, saying he'd taken them "as far as he could go".
Mitchell had been at the Northolme since 2002, when he took over from former Lincoln City boss - and someone well known to City fans - Phil Stant.

Latest @ Barrow : "Caretaker-management duo Dave Bayliss and Darren Sheridan have been handed the reins at Blue Square North club Barrow on a permanent basis.
The pair, who have been in charge at Holker Street since the departure of Phil Wilson last month, have been given a contract until the end of the season. "
Now there's long-term thinking.
