He got a red card recently didn't he for elbows? That's most unlike Leon, who I always felt was able to walk away from trouble, despite the stick he continually took.

I can remember thinking Leon to have been very lucky to not have been sent off on at least two occasions for violent use of an elbow when playing for City.

Was always a toss of a coin, you either thought that Leon was persecuted by refs for his physical presence and style of play, or you thought he used his physical presence to get away with all kinds of skullduggery and then claimed the former......

So hope to see some of you at the match. ;D I shall be there. I'm travelling on the Farsley Celtic supporters' club coach! It's cheaper than the train and the last train back would be too early if the game went to extra-time.

Fraternising with the opposition eh? ... or just using them as a cheap travel option. Dare he stand in the Hinckley end?

Fraternising with the opposition eh? ... or just using them as a cheap travel option. Dare he stand in the Hinckley end? I went to the play-off semi-final second leg on the Farsley Celtic supporters' bus and stood with the Kettering Town fans. Nobody minded.

he did and i wore my blue and white city shirt, we were all subject to banter/abuse from kettering fans though. If anyone is going on monday and has a spare seat in their car could I vacate it, please?

Probably best not to vacate the seat until the car has stopped!

Who would have predicted that; Droylsden, Farsley, Histon and Salisbury would get promoted to the Conference?
Not me.

Went to the Match last night & what can i say WHAT A GAME, Hinckley should have one it but fair play to Farsley they just nicked it at the last. Both teams can be congratulated on playing the best match that i have seen all season & in such a good stadium ( Well done Burton Albion ). I did wonder why they put admission prices up on the night & there were no concessions? Hope Farsley can get more support in the conference than they did last night. Hinckley supporters were great & made such a party atmosphere & they took loads. Anyway best of luck to Farsley in the Conference. ;D Both teams did the Conference North proud.

I don't believe Farsley will last more than one season in the Conference proper. Having said that I think they were the only team in the play-offs to take maximum points off City.

I see on Farsley Celtic web site that they congratulated the players & the 1000 supporters that went to Burton Albion on Monday night? I think they must have counted around 500 of the Hinckley fans in that number.
