Promotion form?

Just looked back at our last 10 league games.

5 draws, 3 defeats and 2 wins. I make that 11 points from a possible 30. Hardly promotion form (especially as the two wins were against sides likely to be relegated)

Yet somehow we still find ourselves just 4 points off the playoff places (albeit with many other teams around us having played fewer games).

To have a had such a poor run of results, yet still be in with a shout of reaching the playoffs is pretty remarkable. How important some of those late goals may prove to be!

I think we will need to win 6 of our remaining 8 games realistically if we are to make it to the playoffs, but stranger things have happened.

I agree. We are not out of it until we are out of it. It is very difficult to put a run together as there is not much between many of the teams. 2 wins would put us in with a shout and might just lead to the sort of run we need. Moor Green will not be easy as they are in the same sort of position as we are but the winners of that game could go on.

If we start winning some games and go on a winning streak we have a chance, otherwise we are doomed to 8th or 9th again
