Can the Company Secretary confirm the time of the AGM?
I ask this because, of the many mistakes on his two AGM notices sent out in the past two weeks, the initial one declares the meeting at 6.30pm with the second letter declaring it at 7.00pm.
I wouldn't want people to turn up at 7.00pm to find it either half way through or even finished.
Perhaps he could notify all shareholders the correct time.

I don't think he reads this board Richard. Perhaps someone could contact the club & clarify this point. At the same time it may be worth checking if proxy votes can be used at the meeting or if they have to be submitted beforehand.

Jimbo If you want someone to vote on your behalf, whether it be the chairman or someone else, the form has to be in to the Company office 48 hours before the meeting. If the Chairman votes on your behalf, he has to vote for who you tick and not who he wants to vote for. I suggest if you can't attend you get the proxy forms in 72 hours before the meeting OR The "shareholders group" will be including a stamped addressed envelope with an office address, which we will then serve on the Club.

I don't think he reads this board Richard. He may not but the board monitor everything that is written, I thought with your close links to the board you would know that!

Actually Ms Turner, we have been formally introduced albeit several years ago. And to put the record straight on my links with the current board which in no way shows my endorsement or otherwise for them I have know all of the present board members except TP (who I've only known since he was voted onto the board) for a lot of years. And obviously unlike you with me I do remember them !!!! As for D H: I interrupted the poor guy's evening out on Saturday, and have a lot of respect for the fact that he was not only willing but also eager to talk to me as a supporter & shareholder of the club.

As you are such bessy mates with DH maybe he can confirm the time of the AGM as Compo seems to be asleep today. Maybe he is figuring out how he can vote for himself! Or hoping the vote will be over before everyone turns up!
I can never remember names and faces, so don't be too broken hearted!
