So that's the Trust's credibility shot down in message board flames then, or at least badly damaged.
Is it any wonder this club is in such a 2 & 8 when it's not just the board that shoot themselves in the foot, but the supporters as well? Feeding hands with bite marks are less likely to want to feed.....

I wonder if the Trust as a body actually posts on the MB. I figure not.

I spoke to a number of people at the match yesterday - from board supporters through to die-hard anti board. There was only one thing they all agreed on - that it is unlikely that the club will survive far into the new year. And yet what do we get on here? Everyone tearing each other to pieces. Brilliant! It's like being on an airplane that's plummeting ground-wards - while we argue over who's ordered what in-flight meal. FFS stay focussed on what's really going on - the pilot's lost control of the plane!

Malcolm whoever you are, are missing the point. The Club has not officially approached the Trust. i.e. a formal letter making the offer of a representative of the Trust on the board.
Only an informal approach.

Only an informal approach.Noted Webbtony but I didnt.Anyway we wont split hairs we will leave that to others. There is a lot of informality within the current set up! It is perfectly obvious what is being attempted by these sort of "informal" approaches to individuals and groups. You would have though that the Board would have more than enough to occupy them without resorting to these attempts to cosy up with anyone who might save them. Why dont they do the one thing that is needed and that is to act in a transparent and open way?

Agreed Malcolm. All the informal approaches were part of a smoke screen, to detract from what is really going on. And of course to start rumours to discredit certain people. Really underhand, and not clever either.

And the only person to end up discredited was the rumour-monger. Poor fella, really got strung up like a kipper on that one!
