When interviewed on BBC Hereford & Worcester two weeks ago, Dave Boddy said that there would be an announcement early next week regarding the "new ground". Any news Dave? or can we find the announcement on: www.worcestercityfc.co.ukYou stated yesterday that there would not be any cuts in the playing budget. We'll take that as a definate - Yes. There will be cuts in the playing budget. You are already massively over budget and as you don't know how to raise money, how are you going to cover it? Or have you got some big sponsors lined up for ........next season? We know that the Social Club isn't going to reach its target of £0 for this season, you can't get players sponsored, gates are dwindling, you have just a handful of sponsors, maybe if we don't talk about it, it might go away. Nunnery Way is not going to happen, so just accept it and tell us your plan B, oh sorry you haven't got one!. Why don't you just go and let people who know what they are doing to get on with the task of saving the Club before it goes the same way as your other clubs. You still think you are a Big Non League Chairman - You are not. How many of you clicked the link to the website?

It's OK, Mr Boddy said in the Non League Daily on Sunday that planing application would be submitted within the next week...

It must be alright then everyone, it's within the next week. I think I might draw a picture of what I think the Ground will look like and submit it to the Council.

I only said to my beloved Mr T last week did we miss the big announcement as I didn't remember anything happening.
I obviously had a moment of senility if I honestly thought anything Dave Boddy promised was going to materialise.
I am really enjoying my self imposed exile from the club, maybe DB and his cronies should stay. Just think of all the diy that will get done when they have run the club into the ground!

You still think you are a Big Non League Chairman Is that not an oxymoron?? A nonleague chairman is by definition is little tiny fish in footballs big pond. A non-entity, although in our case we have a Chairman who actuallythinks he matters. In fact he thinks he matters so much, I heard that he once considered getting someone to write a biography about him!!! He's now in a situation whereby few people can be bothered to lift a finger to help him, that includes volunteers, shareholders, supporters, sponsors, and former Directors, no-one wants to know. And its hurting the club, but what would hurt the club more would be to support the present Board of Directors. Maybe one of them would be so kind as to explain what the implications of going out of the FA Cup will be to the playing budget? No bullshit, no lies, just an explanation of the implications. Maybe Mr Camper can tell us what he knows?

Maybe it is to tell us the 2008 accounts are worse than 2007?
Or
That the bar steward has been head hunted to run a chain of family pubs?
Or
The ladies loos have been voted the most mouldy in the league??

Or maybe he is standing down so my dog (who is adored by all the ladies in Ledbury) can take over.
He has all the attributes needed. He spends most of his life asleep, and is only interested in anything if he thinks there is something in it for him. Oh and he likes to sit on the shed roof.

There must be something wrong with my internet connection as the chairman promised us three or four weeks ago that the website would be back in 24 hours.

One other thing,
All the criticism of the board and DB in particular on this message board is all very justified and I am in complete agreement but does DB or the rest of the directors read this message board?
Do they get to see the criticism being layed at their doors on here? I suspect not as surely they would have done the decent thing by now and resigned.

They might read it, but they'd see us a just a bunch of trouble makers, and not representative of the bulk of supporters. (Wherever they are.)

I doubt they have the collective technological skills to log on to the internet in the first place.

Yes, the banter board is monitored in the WCFC offices.
We have even had phone calls at home from LB complaining about comments posted by GC about the wonderful Mr Preece.

Well at least one does, camper, he's a director. He did come on here looking for volunteers to help the club with something. But most of us are just not in the mood to help anymore. Bye Bye campers!!!

When I read this thread, I thought a decision had been reached as whether to sell chocolate outside the Social Club ?
