25 acre site, community facilities, 22 sides, 7 full size pitches. Wow, thats the direction football clubs should be going in. So what are we getting? 7.5 acres next to a bunch of car showrooms, made of whatever money is left in the pot!! I can't wait to see the new Mercedes dealership at Nunnery Way!!

I think Worcesters new ground will be about the same size,no Burton dream here just a £2 million basic ground, then they will be able to say they have delivered the new ground and cleared all the debts, thats if we are very lucky.

That of itself would be ok, providing the ground met Blue Square Premier standards, and that a reliable business plan was in place to ensure the Club is profitable enough to develop the stadium further in the future.
My major concern is that we will end up with an bargain basement stadium and be back in the red again very quickly if not immediately, without a golden goose to slay this time!

The penny has dropped....... DB has been waiting for Evesham to get their ground sorted, and will then be orchestrating a merger at their ground. He's got previous.......

That is very perceptive and I would not be too suprised if that is indeed what happens. It's almost too perfect but it is certainly a very interesting point and it must seem very enticing for the remaining Board - surely?
