Have the board managed to simply shrug off all the resignations; calls for egms and criticism? Now a lot of good people are refusing even to visit the Lane. Is this the end, or are there plans to push an egm and get something to change?

I was under the impression that the Shareholder Action Group were to submit an EGM request last Saturday at the Braintree game. I am sure they will make a statement in due course to inform us all as to how things are progressing.
There is also much exhaustion and frustration amongst many of us who are also getting sick of being labelled as troublemakers by those who "are only here for the football" and believe that it should be about "football not politics." What these people fail to appreciate is that they may very well have no football to watch if the Board of Directors do not shape up or ship out.
I know a few people are drifting away and giving up hope of seeing any change and that is the saddest thing. But football is at the end of the day just a game, and if Worcester City FC does fold, it will be desperately sad, but my life will go on, so I guess I will also have to decide if it is worth continuing to fight for answers that I doubt I will ever recieve, or whether I should save myself the effort of caring and disappear too.

I think it probably is Ealing, I guess you could push for an EGM but the legal assistance that the club is getting would probably stall that for as long as possible. Already the Chairman has spoken about his plans to stage manage an AGM. Football watchers think the shareholders are just troublemakers, the Board won't accept any kind of compromise even though the Chairman still talks about it - again a stalling tactic, whats the point of even talking about a compromise when there's no-one who wants to compromise with you anymore?? So I wouldn't be surprised if the club isn't just allowed to slip into administration now. Even the Chairman stated last year that the crowd size was worrying and that the club couldn't survive on such low crowds (they'd budgetted for around 1,000 a game), so unless he was being untruthful back then, the club won't survive on 700 a week now. I've just spoken to someone else who won't be going tonight because they can't be bothered anymore. Anyway, "Brooksider" can't be bothered with these clowns anymore either, he was awilling volunteer, who was both critical of the Boards actions and supportive of the Boards actions over the years, he manned tombola stalls, stewarded fun runs, ran the website, stewarded in the stands, raised funding, set up the Supporters Trust, worked with Directors (now former Directors) and he didn't "do it for free" He did it at a cost, and he's nothing special, there are plenty more who have done the same, so he's gone, and won't return until they have departed the Boardroom. So its good bye from "Brooksider" (but I'll still be on here!)

So will a certain Andy come back, if Brooksider is no more? - or does the alter ego still stand in his way?!!

I don't think andy gives a monkeys chuff about my online pseudonym. Its my actions that cause him concern, and that isn't going to change. I'm sure he was addressing me personally when he said he would be off if I was involved in any way with the club. I'm sure andy is a man of integrity and will stick to his word!
