So er more exciting news on Nunnery Way "early next week". That is why the AGM has been delayed. Never mind the Club rules, never mind company law lets disenfranchise all the shareholders for as long we like because after 17 years or so of waiting there is exciting news on the new ground. What - the Motorway will run near by? Its in Worcester? the grass will be green? What sort of news? I imagine that's commercially sensitive and "complex". The plain truth is there is no actual news of any substance. I wait with baited breath
And the door is still open for talks with SAG? We know its open .. for the Board to leave by. Go now while the going is good.

Is "next week" the logical extension of "24 hours"?

What is the most worrying comment was the "what people want to hear".
What is that? We are going to have a league standard ground, with good facilities and a car park in 2009. A manager that has funds to buy basic training aids for his squad and a team that has new kit each season?

Or is it B&Q have donated an ex display shed for the clubhouse?

As an outsider, I'm finding all these shenanigans bemusing, to say the least. It seems that DB is in his last moments of Chairmanship before he joins up with Pieinthesky FC.
The Non-League paper today quotes him as saying "suggestions that the club are 2 million in debt are not true". Weren't we told at the Whitehorse Hotel, and I quote, "The true debt is around 2 million pounds". So which is it, Mr Boddy?
Also from the NLP-"when we deliver the project the financial position will be visible". Nothing needs to be said.
"SAG are making a lot of noise and making it difficult for the board to function". The board are making it difficult for the board to function, Mr Boddy.
And when was the egm? I must have missed it.
And why is the Fisher game not in the fixture list in the NLP?
And................your move then, Mr Boddy(clue: the door has 'exit' marked on it)

In my own humble opinion, that was a complete load of waffle. I personally do not believe a single word the man has to say anymore.

You load of sinners, are you saying that our beloved Chairman lies, but to be a good fibber you must be able to remember the fib you told, but when you tell so many it gets hard, and what really amazes me is that people still believe him and think the sun shines from his back end, including some ex Directors who I thought had more intelligence.

Remember Danny McDonnell's injury?
As I recall it went like this
Danny injured Not insured £2000 (?) needed for private op Supporters donate cash BUPA offer to do it for free Supporters asked to leave cash in Club in form of new shares Most do - Club gets a cash boost as gates decline
Hmmm

the new announcement will be available exclusively on the official Worcester City website. It will not be released to the press or through any other medium. (unless Boddy can get hold of Doris Stokes)

That interview reminds me of that Iraqi Fella - Comical Ali
The "Chairman" proudly proclaiming that "there is no crisis at the club" - whilst in the background can be seen a bloke with a large padlock and chain carrying a sign saying "Club Closed"
Astounding attempt at trying to whitewash the situation there - I can see why wh and others have had enough...

He has cleverly read the stinging criticism of the Board in the Docs resignation as a glowing recommendation of their conduct! Can I borrow the rose tinted specs when you're done?
