Do you really think they care? If they did they would have gone a long time ago. They are toughing it out for very obvious reasons. They might individually like to consider whether they are digging in or digging a deep hole. No-one might bother looking into that hole if they went now.

Please be very careful with postings on here - there are certain powers overseeing messages looking for an opportunity to swoop like eagles of the legal kind on posters, they are operating under instruction. Who cares. We shall see who is in the right. Anyway cant you ban their computers from accessing the site?

You'd think they'd have more important things to do.

It is a little too late to try and silence people if you ask me. The cat is well and truly out of the bag people and there is no point trying to put the toothpaste back into the tube. The fat lady is singing...(any more cliches people want to add?)

Well if they keep going for legal advice someone will keep giving it as long as they are paid, rightly or wrongly?but whether it is morally right is another question.

WCFC press release It is with regret that Worcester City have received the resignation of the long serving Dr. Michael Sorensen as President and Director of the Club. Mike who joined the Clubs Board of Directors in 1989 and was Chairman for 13 years has served the Club with great distinction. On taking over as Chairman in 1990 the Club was close to closing and with the help of a small group of people the Club was saved. Since then he has made a massive contribution to the Club. City Chairman, Dave Boddy, who took over from Mike in 2003, paid tribute to Dr. Sorensen saying “Mike has made a tremendous contribution to this Football Club over a lengthy and difficult period of time. Unless you have been there and done it, you will never know who difficult the task of running this Club and surviving is. He did a tremendous job as Chairman, he has been a great ambassador for the Club, and since stepping down from the Chair and becoming President has been very supportive of me and the rest of the Board. Mike believed that compromise with the Shareholders Action Group was the only way forward for the Club and had become frustrated with recent developments. He will continue to support the Club and help us in a medical capacity”.

Quote taken from statement on WN site to Carley from the ringmaster & above.
"Unless you have been there and done it, you will never know how difficult the task of running this club and surviving is. ''
That's right, no one will know what a task it is, because they will not get the chance. There will be no club and it will too late!

It needn't be all that difficult, provided you actually have a structured plan and the ability to stick to it, the ability to manage risks and the capacity for doing things on sound business footings. And therein lies the reason we are in the s***.

When I saw we were two down I thought one of the other directors had resigned after "The Doc" but sadly it was just a football score from Bognor

I had promised not to post on here again; that was before Mike Sorensen resigned, which was for me the straw breaking the camel's back.
I am marooned up here in Barrow all weekend, so sadly I will not be at the game tomorrow.
I have a regard for Mike Sorensen and when he goes I know it is time to vote for change, which is exactly I shall do when the AGM/EGM or whatever it is comes along. Mike did his level best to broker some kind of deal and obviously there were a lot of egos at work, thinking not of the club, just of their own little niche, who just wouldnt go the extra mile in the interests of the future of the club.
Back @ SGL on Monday to see City play Fisher I hope.

Tim, i am not going to say "told you so" as its fickle and puerile. Hopefully more rank and file suporters of the club can see through the facade put up by the clowns over the last couple of years. They do not want to work with supporters, they have no interest in the good of the club. Can anyone truly say that they believe that Mr Prescott does what he does for the good of Worcester City Football Club??

Tim, many of us came to realise the awful truth a lot later than others. But then why should we have to delve into the running of SGL? Most of us have an innate trust of those in authority. All I really want to do is turn up and see the City play. However, unless there is change - and soon - we won't be able to do that for very long. I keep hearing things "off the record" that even if they are only half true will lead us to oblivion. I don't want to learn from rumours - I just want the truth. Yet we don't get ANY information from this board. They're inept. It would only take a few statements backed up with accounts to put everyone's mind at rest. But we're not going to get those reassurances - because they've got themselves and the club in too deep. You've taken a while to "see the light" for a very simple reason - you're an honorable man. That's a breed this club is going to need in order to survive.

Its not too much to ask from honest men is it?
