I see Ealing is in the money (May Teambuilder); can we expect drinks all round at the next home game?

Moi? Surely some mistake? I never win anything. I'm just lucky in life.

You are always welcome to a pint Tim. I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to have won?

Is West Ealing Perivale by another name or is it Estate Agentese for higher prices?

Perivale! Perivale! That's a working class area! Dreadful.

That Dave Finbow impersonator Neal Foulds was from Perivale. I looked it up on a map the once.

Yes indeed. His dad Geoff was the pro in our local snooker hall, and Neal hung out there a lot. Not the brightest bulb in the chandelier. It was demolished last summer. I hope he was alert enough to get out in time.

Funniest snooker-related thing I ever saw was when I was at University. I used to hire out one of the tables for hours on end when I was taking it quite seriously, and on the other table these two Chinese girls were playing........using the yellow as the cue ball and the white on the yellow spot. I'd have thought it was a joke if they hadn't done it consistently for three frames!
