For those of you who have a liking for mournful Balkan music here is a link to the video for Beirut's new single. journal.4ad.com/brand-new-beirut-video-elephant-gunFor those that don't like Balkan bollocks there are plenty of fit scantily clad women to look at, and some scantily clad fit men.

Thats very good, a pleasant little folk song, I'm sure I've already heard it on either Terry Wogan or Ken Bruce shows on Radio 2, it should certainly get some airplay on radio 2. It may have been the Mike Harding show actually, but yes very nice

Good music but the girls not scanty enough for West London taste. I found myself tuned in to Radio 2 the other day and enjoying it. I was shocked. Is life over for me?

No Ealing, life is just beginning for you, there is a moment in your life it seems when Radio 2 suddenly becomes your station, yesterday I drove home listening to Chris Evans, who is now a little older and wiser, and calmer, and a good broadcaster too, followed by an hour of Paul Jones playing PROPER R&B!!!! fantastic stuff.

Ealing
If you come from where I come from then they are practically naked. As for Radio 2, just don't do it too often. That is the real killer. You have to mix and match to stay fresh. However there is no excuse for listening to Chris Evans, whatever the station.
Smog
I didn't know Davina McCall was Hungarian. If our prog friend Ed (of the Faithful) has listened to this then he would really have got into the zither tuning part. Anyway very nice, I'm now off to put Muzikas on the old record player and have the wonderous Marta Sebestyen melt my heart all over again.
And then hopefully have Emma Pollock do the same in Brum on Friday night.

Actually the Chris Evans on radio 2 is a different Chris Evans to the knob that used to be on Radio one, Virgin radio and every self publicising TV prog he could get on, very different indeed. Just off to put on Street Legal, need a dose
