the evening news site usually gives updates even when there no score. so i think that must not be working today and doesnt mean its 0-0.
the non-league vidiprinter site has no update either.

would have been happy with a point going into the game but a bit gutted we couldnt hold on for the win, both teams looked poor in front of goal, they missed the pen with wright going the wrong way, wilding crossed it in then troy tapped it in for our goal, 2 minutes later pulled off a audacious lob but the ex worksop keeper tipped it over. We should have had a pen late on, troy was brought down in the box and the ref gave a goal kick. About 5 or 6 chavs mouthing off in the second half, we gave em a bit of banter back, they called in their reinforcements then threw stones at our coach as we drove off. The steward thanked us for not retalitating to the little knobheads as he put it and the cheeky git said we gota pay for him getting hammered in the return fixture.

Thought a draw was a fair result. A few off days today, most notably Price until he went off. Simply kept giving the ball away too easily. MOM for me was Troy who was unlucky not to have a hat trick. Wright also superb again, but needed some of the experienced guys to step up more today. That said 5 out of 9 points is good esp with two being away.
Oh and think the ref got both pen decisions right, felt that Troy wasn't brought down.

I don't consider some of the chants were 'banter' factually. And if the coach company has suffered criminal damage then I trust it will be reported? Thankfully, some of the senior Gainsboro supporters pulled up the teenage thugs - from what I saw. Stupidity really, as the ground is smashing, the town centre is welcoming as are the 'boro supporters I was sat next to. And yes there was 'banter' - good non league stuff. |

didnt mean to imply there chants were banter because they certainly weren't! no damage to the coach the stones just bounced off.
