I see they are widening the path behind the goal. Anyone know how wide it will be?

That's good news they will probably widen it one more slabs width, then we need a bit more covered areas around the ground.

I've just had a quick look at Claines lane and they are widening the path,it doesn't look that much wider maybe an couple of inches wider,as I said it was only a quick look so can't tell for sure.

You are right, it's not much bigger. Last night, even with a sparse crowd, you sometimes (as before) had to go up the bank to get round people.

If/ when the City get to step 4, there will need to be things done to Claines Lane to meet the FA ground grading criteria, setting aside the s**t pitch. Step 5 downwards criteria is very relaxed, whereas steps 1-4 are far more stringent.
Claines Lane would need 2 permanent "clicking " turnstiles as opposed to the 2 sheds there at present, more toilets and more covered accommodation plus other things.
The obvious question is who pays ? One would like to think the Worcs FA Ltd as according to their latest accounts to 30 June 2023, they are worth £ 1,139,202 with cash at bank of £ 393,376.
However whilst spending on their offices and employee empire building has not proved a problem to them so far, we can all see what's been spent on the ground and pitch can't we ?
