Really impressive performance yesterday. More than deserved the 2-0 win, despite having 10 men for two thirds of the game. Didn't see the sending off incident, but whatever happened was right in front of the linesman.
Hard to pick out a single player – but I thought Hall and Maphosa at the back were immense. Everyone worked tirelessly and we showed lots of quality. Not sure we even used a sub despite being one man down!
Nice set up at Boldmere – they clearly have a thriving youth set up and some decent facilities.

A good performance and three points and a clean sheet, what more can we ask for away to high flying Boldmere . When the teams came out with Arron Roberts up front i thought whats going on partnered by Dunkley, but shouldnt have worried with Roberts scoring a brace . A very committed showing by the City side ,non stop closing down and outplayed Boldmere who offered very little going forward. The Dunkley sending off was a off the ball incident and will miss three games for violent conduct, when we are already struggling in the forwards department. The forwards position is going to be problem for the manager with Sterling missing due a fitness issues , Westwood hamstring injury, no mention of why Bailey Fuller was missing ? and Arron Roberts is not available for the Fa Vase game against Lutterworth Town. Can anyone confirm if Arron Birch is still at the club ? . A good turn out by the City faithful in the crowd of 169. Looking forward to the Fa Vase game on Saturday and hoping for a decent crowd and a cup run.

Why is Roberts not available for the Vase game? He hasn't played for another club in the Vase this season surely?

Tim, Arron Roberts is not available this Saturday due to going away, will be a big miss for us with all the injuries and suspensions. Ady, thanks for clearing up the reason for the absent Bailey Fuller , still no mention if Arron Birch is still at the club or injured, agree with the set up at Boldmere .

I asked this question the other day and was informed that Birch is on compassionate leave and will be back soon. |
