In case anyone has missed it, on Boxing Day the club is supporting St Paul's Hostel and Worcester Foodbank. We're asking for supporters to bring any items off the Foodbank Shopping list (pdf can be found on link. If it's one 20p tin, a carrier bag full, or a van load - we'll take it, and make sure it gets to the Foodbank to help look after those who most need it! We're also fundraising for St Paul's Hostel. They support and nurture homeless people around Worcester, and have done so for the last 40 years. You can support St Paul's on Boxing Day through buying mince pies or mulled apple juice from the club shop. With a bit of luck, there should be some St Paul's collection tins around the ground too, in case you find yourself with a bit or shrapnel pulling your trousers down! I'd love it if all who attend the Boxing Day match bring any items off the foodbank shopping list (can be found on link) www.worcestercityfc.org/news/city-link-up-with-charities-2106750.html or buy a pie for St Paul's! Thanks in advance to everyone who is helping out on the day, and who has helped organise it! Should the day from a charity point of view prove successful, I'd like to work in regular charity days throughout the season, and see if we can support some local good causes!

As people rarely say thank you or well done ... well done Jack and all involved.

Yup, you can buy juice and pies again on New Years Day (today), with proceeds going to St Paul's to continue in the work brilliant work they do to help the homeless in Worcester. Donation buckets will also be at the club shop stall for them. Would be great if as many as possible help support them. On my journey through town after work tonight, I spotted 5 rough sleepers. Terrible how many in Worcester are homeless and need support.
there is not a planned foodbank collection, but Boxing Day was very successful and the foodbank volunteers seemed delighted with how much had been donated. We will look to sort out another one or two foodbank collections in the future and see if they remain successful. Should anyone have a charity they want the club to help fundraise for, please let me know and I'll see if we can sort something.

Admirable work. It's very apt that WCFC is collecting for the homeless.
