New SponsorshipI'm presuming that Kev Preece is behind this (I'd be astonished if it was one of the board). Just imagine what kinds of things would get done if 200 Kevs ran the club, and not just 1 plus 4 dead-weights in the boardroom. (And remember that nearly everything good that has been done at Worcester City over the last few years has been done by fans, Trust and others, while the Board were munching their free lunch, drinking cups of tea and thinking about which slippers to wear while watching Strictly that evening)

When have I not praised you Kev? Just wish you weren't doing it for the benefit of the current board, who will piss any gains down the river and probably leave your sponsors never wanting anything to do with WCFC ever again.

I know mate, im am trying my hardest to save this Club, if it means raising money to keep the Club afloat until a ground is built then thats what I will do. I understand peoples reasons for staying away but as ive said before...i cant just down tools, if anything i keep picking up tools as i go along. I have plans to bring in fundraising initiatives for the Boxing Day and NYD matches vs Bromsgrove

Without change at the top and a rapid transition to a fan owned club then imo the club as it exists will not be saved. The best and, importantly, the fastest route to saving it is revolution not this lingering decline. Whilst I appreciate loyalty there are two paths to tread here. One for the benefit of the many and one for the very very few. Change has a good chance of revitalising the club and bringing it home. The other path simply can not achieve this. It's a dead end.

A great idea in theory but does anyone truly believe the fanbase will EVER agree about anything relating to this dead donkey of a club ? Ewally ?

I can fully understand what you mean Dragon but I think there is hope. Of course there will be people who wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. That would include those who couldn't face the thought that the "troublemakers" had been proven right and those who just felt that it wouldn't be WCFC and therefore not the club they want to follow. There might also be some who are still going now out of obligation/loyalty to WCFC who would be grateful for an excuse to stop going altogether? However,as has already been proven, quite a lot of fans just want to watch "the lads" and couldn't care less what goes on otherwise. They might reasonably be expected to be there. The biggest thing though is all those missing fans. They aren't all dead(or haven't defected to Sutton!).I have no hard facts but I bet there are lots like me who would rather clean the toilets at Hereford than put another farthing into WCFC while the current regime and constitution is in existence. Those people, plus the community in general, which has been treated pretty poorly over the years,is where the real gains could be made.Only my opinion of course!

There can no longer be any reason to give the board (custodians) of WCFC any leeway. Many have seen it for years, some for less, and some are still in the "support the lads" camp. When will it dawn on people that it really does not matter about the result of the next couple of games...it is all about the future of football in Worcester. The Trust are looking at a ground that the board of WCFC do not want to play at. The board, however, have no viable alternative that they want to disclose (because they don't have one). "We're going to lose less money this season than last (as long as we do well in the League, in the FA Vase and people keep coming)". Well done.
People can and will make a difference. Saying that there probably is not the will is defeatist from the start. Creaner said at the ST meeting that a phoenix club should be the last resort.
It has reached that point now
