One thing that has had me scratching my head given the level we are playing at is what in the name of Barry Williams lucky boots are we doing playing home matches in Bromsgrove? Why aren't we playing at Malvern Town? Surely the latter is only half the travel time away and is much easier to access by public transport? I would have thought the costs would be no more and probably less than using The Vic?

Twice as many trains from foregate street to Malvern than to Bromsgrove and it's only a 10 minute walk from the station. Buses run every 20 minutes and stop near the ground. Cycling it is 40 minutes to Malvern and 1 hour 20 to Bromsgrove if google is to be believed.

To get to Langland Stadium from either Malvern station in 10 minutes would involve a very brisk walk indeed!
If there was a choice I would prefer to see us at Nunnery Wood SC. I understand that option was explored but discounted.
Anyway we have Parsonage Way to look forward to...

Ok it's just over a mile ... but the first part from gmv station is downhill 😉 Bromsgrove must be a 2 mile walk at least?

I'm not 100% about this, but I believe that the club signed a 2 year deal to play at Bromsgrove.

There were 572 fans there yesterday, whether Bromsgrove is the best choice or not: not too bad for our level on a Sunday. Yes, a few were Chasetown fans, but not more than 40 at my guess.

Three sides are just grass - one tiny seated stand, with a tiny covered area in front of it. The social club is ok - but the rest is - well what can you say - not great. Bromsgoves VG may not be ideal, but its a 100 times better than Langland - and its what we got - for the next season anyway.

The facilities at the HD Anywhere Community stadium are more than adequate for step 9 football. I just think that City would get better attendances there than at Bromsgrove.

I'm sure it could cope quite adequately with 400.

I was at Langland yesterday and the playing surface is superb as is the hospitality.WCFC needs to get out of this big club mentality and take a reality check.Bromsgrove is dated, the surface poor and takes twice as long to get to.We are happy to take their players but give nothing back.I wonder how much Bromsgrove will want when the current deal ends?If we don't win this league I can see the level of support dropping below the 300 mark which won't even cover match appearance fees.

The average fanbase of City is quite old. They need close parking and somewhere to sit. Depending on where you live in the city, it's probably only a 10 minutes difference. Therefore Bromsgrove is far more favourable.

There's little wrong with Bromsgrove, blimey, good close car parking, you can get a seat easily enough if you want one, and the Rousler's bar is very good, the staff are excellent. Langland is literally nowhere near as good. Kiddy was a luxury we obviously couldn't afford but given the fact thr buffoons sold St George's Lane I am very grateful to be playing at a place like Bromsgrove until we get our "new stadium" (I know...... might be a bit of a wait!!!!).
