So the divide between the Football Club Directors and the Supporters Trust has never been wider.
The FC see a future at Parsonage Way and refuse to be part of any appeal, whilst the ST are determined to pursue Perdiswell by appealing the planning committee's decision to refuse the application.
God knows how much money is actually left in the FC or ST bank accounts but time and money appears to be running out for all sides.
What a pity that it appears that Worcester City FC will be left to eventually disappear whilst different factions stand by more interested in fighting bitterly with each other.
I cannot see a way back from here for the ST and FC to work together so where next?

We've been clear of our intentions over the last 5 years to get Perdiswell through planning as the first stage of getting back in the city at the most suitable place. Nothing has changed. All the money spent by the trust has been raised through beer festivals, donations and organising stuff like the AFC Liverpool game. And it would have been more costly were in not for those experts who gave their time for free to try and keep our hopes of survival alive. Ask where the money from SGL has gone at the next AGM. Oh, wait.

And believe you me, if Parsonage Way had even a miniscule chance of being a better and more viable option than Perdiswell, the Supporters Trust would have shelved that plan, and gone full tilt into Parsonage Way. Ask yourself why that hasn't happened? This is not even the clubs plan, this is a political move by the Tories on the City Council, they don't feel that Warndon Village is marginal, therefore they can piss off the residents up there , lose a few votes, but keep the seats.

City council show rock solid support for Parsonage Way proposal -A city council spokesman said: "Parsonage Way has been discussed as a potential site with Worcester City Football Club and the Worcestershire FA. Like any development of this nature, it would need to be the subject of a planning application that would be determined on its own merits." A planning application determined on it's own merits no less. What could possibly go wrong.

I am in despair: if the breach between the Supporters' Trust and WCFC Ltd cannot be healed then we are doomed to die. It may take a while but it is inevitable. Some pride needs to be ditched (on both sides) if that breach is to be healed. Is there no-one prepared to act as an honest broker between the two parties. Jaw, jaw is better than war, war.

Tim this isn't some existential battle between warring factions. Trust have worked to get us to a point where the Perdiswell application can be determined on its merits and will see it through as was our mandate. Club are looking at starting the process again at PW. First can be determined soon, second is years away. Not about pride, just practicalities.

Realistically, it is quite simple. The ST care about the football club both now and in the future, whereas the board of directors of the football club.........
Sad but inevitable that it has come to this. One party wanted to try and get things done, the other was not interested.
One party tried to be open with everyone, one party decided that no-one needs to be told anything.
You really could not make it up.

Interesting point Tim. A broker? Would Anthony Collins Solicitors from Birmingham suffice. This was the Company paraded in front of the Shareholders before the EGM. Hampson stated they would go away and come up with a Solution. What was that Solution? We never heard anything again. Is it because (once again) The Club Chairman didn't like what they had to say so dismissed it. Just like the Harrison Clark report on Nunnery Way. I know of at least two other "honest brokers" who have met Hampson and who have come back with the same answer. I am sick to death of people telling us we should work together and I am sick to death of people saying we are doing this for power etc. Haven't you listened to anything about Community Ownership and how it works?

The Supporters Trust agreed over and over , whenever an honest broker came forward, and then they met with Hampson and that was the end of it. We've been there so many times before.

So where next?
If the appeal is successful, the ST have won a moral victory but the land will still belong to a council where 19 out of 35 Cllrs do not want to see a stadium at Perdiswell.
Also the football club will still be being controlled by Hampson et al who have publicly distanced themselves from the Perdiswell project.
What is the ST plan for overcoming these two massive obstacles to seeing WCFC playing football in a stadium at Perdiswell?
There must be a plan, otherwise the costs of pursuing the appeal will be wasted (however minimal they are).

A lot can happen on a local council in that time. Local elections will be the acid test to whether people want this to happen or not.

I get that Rob, but with only 1/3 of seats up for grabs each election in Worcester, getting a Labour majority is going to take time and be very tough.
I don't think any marginal Tory seats are up for grabs in 2018 so it will require some big swings in places like St Peters, Battenhall and the Warndon Parishes to return Labour Councillors.
Not impossible, but history suggests unlikely. And what about Hampson et al?

We'll Hampson said there was only a couple of seasons money left and that was two years ago. They should call an AGM immediately and tell shareholders the financial situation and explain the state of plans for PW

So the football club don't support Perdiswell. The Council don't support Perdiswell (they hold the key as landowner). That doesn't matter though as the Trust are going to stubbornly plough on regardless with a dead duck. The Perdiswell business case is left in tatters - a football stadium for Worcester City FC without the football club equals a white elephant.
If the football club were taking this route you would be laughing at their stupidity.

The Tories do not support Perdiswell, Labour do, so when we get planning permission at appeal and the Council changes, we'll come back to you. We're happy to wait. The Club have been working on this Plan B for over a year. There must be plans drawn up to make this statement, so let the shareholders see it. How is the Trust finishing what it started going to affect Parsonage Way exactly? and why are you so concerned about what the Trust are doing, with the support of its members? I am not expecting you to answer anything, you never have.

I have no doubt there are some good people in the Trust, but there's a large faction of John Snape lackeys in their ranks. Snape is obsessed with Perdiswell, and he wants to be seen as the 'hero' to make it happen. He doesn't care whether it's the best option for the club, just that he's seen in a positive light.

As a group you have seriously lost the plot when it comes to Perdiswell and are just trying to save your face.
When the City kick off the first match in the brand new Perdiswell Stadium then feel free to come back and tell me "Told you so". Until then it is just, to quote, "Pie in the sky".

This is such a depressing read that it can't augur well for the new season. I think I'll just stop reading it all and wait and see. The sun will come up tomorrow just the same.

The simple answer is for Hampson ( presumably still out searching for auditors, or is that Layland's job ? ) , to call an AGM ( he can call two if he wants for 2016 and 2017 ), say how much money is left ( 200 k ? if we're lucky ) , and show everyone his plans for Parsonage Way ( which is a totally inappropriate location ).
There's more chance of genghis eloping with John Snape, and downthelane stopping bathing in ignorance !

Your point of view is the same every single time, change the record, put some spice girls on..spice up your life ! So its Snapes fault that we will end up with our lowest ever points tally, its his fault that the clubs in the state its in, its his fault that Perdiswell isnt going to happen....whats next ? Are you going to blame him for making you a complete wackjob ? But then again youve just played your ace card.....you are unhappy that everyone is blaming Hampson for the state of the Club.....we have another downthelane ! Crawl back in lad..or under the rock.. !

genghis - for clarity
Hampson and Boddy for that matter, have ruined the club by their appalling stewardship of the club, both pre and post the sale of SGL. We have no ground, no money, and asked for a 2 level demotion. That's why they are blamed. Do you understand that ?
As for Snape, you are the only person with an agenda against him, but as far as I'm aware, you haven't said what exactly he's done to you to make you have this psychotic fixation with him ?
