Can anyone answer the question as to what happens now ? I fully understand how devoted & how tirelessly the trust have been over the last few years. But has this shower of sh**e WCFC board of directors made it impossible to move forward ? Does the possibility of a new stadium & club not rely on finance thro grants only available to a higher league ? Because of these clowns (board not trust) I have boycotted home matches for two seasons & only travelled to a few away games, I do however miss my regular fix of non league: Is this the time to begin suprting another local team or is a Phoenix club still a possibility ?

I live in hope that things will turn round but I think a phoenix club is the only answer.I am fortunate in that I had a second side in Sutton United anyway which has gradually become my first side over the last couple of seasons as I could see all this coming.Have to say it is lovely going to a club that is extremely well run and still has its own, proper, ground. There is life after WCFC!Don't fall in the trap of propping up this set up because you feel you have to.I Will always class myself as a city fan in my heart but sometimes your head has to rule your heart!

The pessimist in me says that by dropping to this level, the planning application will fail as why would approval be given for a 4,000 capacity stadium when the likely attendance will be 3 men and a dog. The optimist in me says that the 3 men and a dog attendance will make a severe dent in the NIMBY's objections to the planning application regarding road congestion, off-street parking, noise pollution, brawling before and after the matches, increase litter etc... Fortunately with an experienced business man at the helm together with the support of other experienced businessmen, their combined business acumen means WCFC cannot fail! Dodger.
