"A planning application would have to go in,” Lemon continued. “But this has been worked through for the last couple of years so the discussions are at quite an advanced stage in terms of the ground being developed. It is going to cost over £1.5million. The funding will be coming from Wychavon council and the Football Foundation among others.”

I wonder if they'll ask Hampson for advice?
I hope not.

Assuming relegation is confirmed presumably ground grading requirements are less?

They may end up at Bromsgrove as well - won't that be fun

Having been brought up on the glory days of Nobby Clark, and when we were the best team in non league football, how can we have got to the state where we have no ground, and next season will be playing one level higher than Pershore Town and Droitwich who both have grounds ?
I truly despair.

Agreed but in those days we still had the unfairness of having to be elected to the league no matter how good you were. Remember top conference teams like runcorn, Enfield, Weymouth and Kettering. We came good at the wrong time whereas kiddy and Cheltenham for example a few years after were able to win their place in the league. Wonder how history would have turned out differently for us and those other clubs mentioned if the fairer system had started sooner?
