Saturday's fixture moved to Altrincham

Due to the surface at Bower Fold in Stalybridge being unplayable, Saturday's Vanarama National League North away fixture vs Stalybridge Celtic will now be played at Moss Lane, Altrincham.

I can't say that I'm surprised. The Bower Fold is currently a mudbath, having also been used by the Oldham Rugby League Club. Stalybridge are still to play another 11 games ( 7 at home ) to the end of the season, with Saturday, Tuesday matches from now on.

A postponed fixture may have been preferential........gives some extra days of planning tactics, such as an alternative to hoofing the ball as far upfield as possible at the earliest opportunity.
