Maybe the objective is to draw every match remaining this season 0-0.

OMG Hoist the white flag, looking at the remaining fixtures anyone want to hazard a guess how many points we will pick up. I will start with nil.

Maybe the idea is to push Jordan Keane (assuming he's still with us) up front, in which case we need another defender.

Formation for tomorrow could be 6-4-0 For a moment I'd read this as your prediction for tomorrow............ 64-0 Dodger.

Thanks for the invite but we don't need a chat. I have my views, and you will have yours, we won't agree and that is football.
Much more important is for the Trust and the Football Club to meet to discuss the Club's future and how the Trust can help the Club (if they want to help of course, as several prominent members of the Trust appear to favour the exact opposite).

Downthelane is the epitome why this Club is in the state it is.
When the Club folds it will be someone else fault other than their own blinkered, believe anything view. If you follow its posts, it never answers any questions although always has an opinion on everything.
Its response above reminds me of the time when we were trying to prevent the Club Board from signing the contract to go to Nunnery Way, which effectively opened up St Georges Lane / Gregory Bank to be built on, Nunnery Way to be built on and the J6-7 M5 Corridor to be built on and the cast iron possibility that we would be left with nothing. We were accused of trying to kill the Club by an audience which contained not one single person who had read what we were being roped in to.
Now we are left with nothing and there are still moron's like DowntheLane around.

What do you find bizarre about it? Your closed mind. If you won't speak to Rob, speak to me, or Dave Wood, or Mike Davis. Your views might be very valid and worthwhile.

Rich -
Calling me a moron Rich is pefectly fine (although I bet you don't get a forum ban like I did for a childish insult, and even if you do just use one of your other profiles, Dodger etc).
I do not have a blinkered view, I just don't happen to agree with everything that is said on here. People are panicking about players being moved on, well players come and go, they always have. Would the preference be to keep on spending on the playing budget until the money runs out? That would be a crazy strategy to follow. Surely the Trust must supportive of this approach, so it leaves some cash in the bank for Perdiswell?
And yes you were right about the ground deal, but you then went on the Board yourself, so does that mean you are as much at fault about the position as the current board? Or were the crucial mistakes made before you or any of the current board were involved?
Jupu -
You and the other chaps named are very likeable guys who have the club at heart, but you guys are never heard. The mouthpieces are Jem and Rich who shout the loudest and so their views are taken as being the Trust view. I'm sorry but that puts me off becoming involved with the Trust and I would guess I am probably not the only one.

The damage was done on signing the deals. How the hell can you smear others who have tried to rectify the situation the board have got us into? You've been accused of being a moron- I think you've got off lightly.

Noboddy - that's exactly my point if you re-read my post. It is historic cock ups that have left the club in its current predicament, not more recent decisions.

I'm sorry but that puts me off becoming involved with the Trust and I would guess I am probably not the only one. I went on the Board as I was asked to due to the fact that the vast majority of the Board had f****d off after Nunnery Way was in the bag. You clearly know nothing about the Club or what has happened - AS for your claim above about me shouting the Loudest - Show me One post going back 10 years that I have written on this Banter Board that backs up what you are claiming. I first proposed a drop 8 years ago in a shareholders meeting, when we had the money, it was rejected and I was accused of not having a clue etc. The best thing the club can do is slash its playing budget to something it can afford - This has always been my view. Other than Gold Bond, and two sponsors the Club has no other income other than a match day so of course we should cut our budget. However, the Board do nothing to raise funds so it is the only thing they can do. As for saying I have other profiles, you clearly don't know me either.

How about: Not having a anyone bringing in sponsorship for past three years Breaking your link with the local college Accusing your main fundraiser of fiddling whilst completely ignoring someone who was fiddling the Club Voting against the only proposal on the table to save the Club, not once but twice. Making a list of short term aims, then doing absolutely nothing to reach those aims Making decisions which leaves the Club with no volunteers Making Decisions behind the back of 1/3 of the Board How many more do you want, there's a long list.
