1-1 halftime. First 37 minutes was a complete shambles. Hughes scored a cracking goal and the Tamworth were desperately unlucky to score, just before they scored a (very harshly given) penalty. A draw is fair enough at HT

Att 531. Probably the last 500+ crowd of this season?

Good point. Poor game. On the radio on the way home Hughes said he would like the managers jobs.

Att 531. Probably the last 500+ crowd of this season? So why might we not get 500 plus for Halifax, Darlington, Stockport or Salford?

Lots of effort today which was pleasing. Bearing in mind those pikeys are pushing for play offs, City worked their keeper harder. Best chance fell to Tyler who blazed over in the 6 yard box. Hughes goal was sublime - I was right behind it and was in as soon as it left his boot.
Hope for the season even if the future looks bleak. Up the City

Att 531. Probably the last 500+ crowd of this season? No chance its the last one, Stockport and Halifax will be over 500, Darlo maybe, Salford will depend where they are in league

It's just that we haven't won a league game for nearly 3 months and the performances of late don't exactly bring too much hope. Many people today were saying they've had enough! I do take on board some of the larger followings of the above mentioned teams, so I probably was premature . I think I was disappointed with the last local "derby" having a smaller crowd.

A scrappy game on a bobbly pitch. The point was more than deserved though, and if any side was going to win it, it was Worcester. The endeavour from the team was there, and I was delighted that we played a 4-4-2 formation which the players looked comfortable with. Hughes scored an excellent goal, and left me thinking about the 4 games he missed for getting stupidly sent off against Kidderminster. The Tamworth penalty was a harsh decision with their striker falling to the ground, as the ball sailed harmlessly over his head. The defence looked very solid, with jordan Keane leading the way. For them, it was nice to see Ellis Deeney playing - he's still got a sweet left foot but looked a lot less fit than when he played for us. A good point, although with Bradford winning, and closing the gap to just 3 points, we have to start winning soon.

I was at the Chorley v Darlington game today - Att around 1,300 - of which maybe 200 to 250 were Darlington fans. City will definitely get a gate of over 500 against them - probably more like a gate of 700 if Darlo are still up in the play-off spots. BTW How many Tamworth fans there today?

Probably the same thirty that were at Cheltenham on Tuesday night when, incidentally, Tamworth were deadful and Ellis was probably the worst of them all(IMO).

Not many, 30 at most - no need for segregation today ! 30 - Thats very poor. Tamworth brought more than that to Chorley last month. There was no segregation at Chorley either. The Darlo fans came in the social club pre match and no trouble. They swapped ends at half time, again trouble - just lots of banter - which is what non-league footy is all about. Looking forward to seeing you at Chorley Good Friday!

Nuneaton Town v York City in the FA Trophy was a no segregation game. Big game against a former league club a league higher, and it looks like everyone just had a lovely time!

A battling committed performance from the players and a good response after the Gloucester showing, in a poor game against a Tamworth side who were one point off the play offs. The defence looked solid with Jordon Keane looking a rock in the centre back position and a must for the rest of the season to replace Sam Oji. A great goal from Lee Hughes put City in front, but Tamworth drew level from a penalty after Hutchinson tucked back a Tamworth player in the box, maybe harsh but a penalty to me. Our midfield were poor and lacked any creativity and lacked confidence , with Ebby Nelson having a shocking game. We could of nicked the points at the end with Tyler Weir missing a great chance firing over from close range. We are in a relegation scrap and without a manager, so the board need to get this matter resolved and get the right man in to give the club any chance of survival to save our league status at this level. Driving home Lee Hughes was being interviewed by BBC H&W and said he had spoken to the chairman about him being interested in being the next Worcester City manager, I personally hope this doesn't happen as he has caused enough disruption to the side with two needless sending offs and missing four games suspended.

Considering the circumstances I feel we did very well and were the more likely winners. I do question who does the player ratings as we had nearly half the team on 5's.. We were collectively far better than that and was a decent place to start in regards to rebuilding confidence. We do desperately need a win sooner rather than later in order to give the players a much needed boost in confidence

We should have had three points from that; much the better side second-half. Ellis Deeney, even with his thigh strapped up, knows how to PASS the ball, which is more than can be said of Ebby Nelson-Addy who had another shocker.
Tamworth for the play-offs? Never in a month of Sundays. They looked about the same class as us.

It may just have been a coincidence, or on the other hand it could be an omen: as we walked into the Victoria Ground on Saturday two buzzards were circling around the ground.
